forward three weeks later jo was 12 weeks and the whole hospital already knew about her being pregnant and them having twins,
Alex and jo were both really excited but super nervous of handling two babies at once, especially jo who was extremely overwhelmed about what would happen to her body, Alex kept calming her down but it was still a daily concern.
it was Sunday so they had the day off, that morning when she woke up she went to the bathroom as usual and then notice a small growing bump, she was stunned, in this exact moment it really became real to her, that she was pregnant and she was having twins
she quickly called Alex who was making breakfast in the kitchen.
when he arrived he looked over jo checking if everything was okay, the he noticed the bump
"jo" Alex said surprised but sweet
"i know" jo said smiling
Alex pulled jo into a hug that became a kiss, and ran his hands on her now growing belly
"come on let's go have some breakfast" Alex said
at breakfast
"mmm.. Alex this is delicious" -jo said surprised
Alex just smiled admiring his wife
"you know what i was thinking since we found out about the twins" jo said still swallowing her food
"what" Alex responded also eating
"there is no way we are going to fit in the loft all four of us" jo said
" i been thinking the same thing, but I didn't thought it was time yet" Alex said
"but I don't want to be huge by the time we start looking at houses" jo said laughging
Alex laughed too
"well then we can start house searching before you get to far along, if you want" Alex said
"I would really like that" jo said
"okay then" said Alex
They finished their breakfast and then went into the computer to start looking for houses, they found a couple of options that they liked and that were on good school districts because he clearly didn't live in a good one, they ended up hiring a realtor and scheduling dates to come meet the houses, it was a really productive day, not how jo and Alex would have liked spending it, but they enjoyed it and went one step ahead.
