Jo's POV
"okay mr Harrison, if u don't have any more questions, i'll see u in surgery" i said to my colonoscopy patient
"thank u Dr Karev" mr Harrison said
then i stepped out of the room onto the nurses station, to fill the paperwork
i was updating mr harrisharrison's chart when it hit me literally i was really confused but at the same time i knew perfectly what was going on, one of the twins had kick me, they were kicking finally, ideally it would have been a few weeks ago carina said it was perfectly normal but i was getting worried, anyways i paged alex to an on-call room and headed there my self.
in the on-call room
still Jo's POV
When I got to the on-call room Alex hadn't arrived yet I sat on one of the beds and waited for him, after a few minutes there was a knock on the door
"come in" I said as I knew Alex was just being polite
"What's up? what's wrong?" Alex said
"no nothing, just come sit"I said
Alex obeyed me and sat next to me on the bed
"give me your hand" I demanded
he gave me his hand confused not knowing what was going on, I placed his big hand on my belly around the place one of the twins had hit me before, and we waited for it to hit again
Around 40 seconds past...and it kicked again, I just smile admiring Alex reaction
Alex smiled ear to ear then looked at me, and kissed me without taking his hands off my belly, we both stayed there for like an. hour admiring our sons kick.
