Esmi comes out and tells us that the doctor is going to come out. I need to make a decision and it huge.  I can have her arm amputee or take take risk she can use it again and all the pros and cons.
I am thinking of her  Career as a doctor.
The doctor comes out.
Mrs. Julie Davis we understand Dr. Esmi Martin has gone over with you the pros and cons. Yes.  Please do not amputee her arm. She is a surgeon and this would kill her if she cannot do her actual cutting in dead bodies.  Oh she is a coroner.  She is the chief coroner of Sacramento.  I am guessing you are new to Sacramento.  Yes I am. What are your qualifications?
I listened and look at Esmi.
Esmi you have done these during the Vietnam War have you not and done things most doctors won't do and you have privileges here  correct? Yes but she is my daughter and the medical professionals frown on us operating on our loved ones. I don't care get approval.  I will sign a waiver to release you and the hospital and the medical staff here from liabilities. Just bring me the forms now.
The medical receptionist brings me the forms and I complete them fully and sign and date them.  Julie I will do my best. I know you will.

Sterile and to do the surgery.
Jane, yilena and Katelyn I hope I made the right decision.  Yilena and Jane was not sure but Katelyn was.  Everyone else kept their opinions to themselves.
We waited over five hours for the surgery to be completed. In the mean time,  Jane just held me and Kiki held Yilena. Avery and Tommy went to get us food  after Angela immediate family checked on Angela. Angela had a broken leg but would recover.  Frankie was bringing her down in the wheel chair and waited with us.
Angela was fortunate all she had was a broken leg. Two people near her didn't make it from their internal injuries. The bomber killed himself when the last blast in the bank went off.
You guys think positive.  Maura will pull out of this and stop this crying.  When Maura wakes up she doesn't need to see you were crying.  Everyone sit down and eat the deli sandwiches,chips and beverages Tommy and Avery brought back. I am not hungry. 
My mother got up and hit my wife in the back of her head.  Yilena Salas you are to eat. Maura doesn't need to see you all out of sorts and hear your stomach growl. Yes. Angela but don't hit me again. I got your point. You don't need to hit me. I am not one of your kids that came out of your vagina. 
Avery gets up and has me move away from Angela.

Angela wheels herself outside and Laura follows her.
Yilena I am sorry my mother did that to you.
Yilena nods and gets up. Esmi comes out.
She is in recovery.  The surgery was touch and go for awhile and she flat lined twice.  She will need alot of physical therapy and minimal meds. She will be difficult to be around for awhile.  Frankie I need to take a leave of absence. Yilena if you do that you might not get the same shift.  Frankie I don't care. I am going to be there even if she hates me. I will work until the day she gets discharged from here.  Jay the same goes for me. It's the same. We can adjustments for you Jane. You Julie,Jane  Esmi and Katelyn you can move in with us. We all can help her get better. I will order more equipment for the exercise room if needed. Yilena this is her assigned physical therapist I hired.  Why don't you two go somewhere so you can tell him what you have and he will tell you what you need.
Yilena walked with the gentleman to discuss what will be needed.
Maur was waking up and asked to speak to Yilena after she saw her mother and sister.
Julie and My feelings were hurt but we had to put aside our feelings.
Esmi and Katelyn came out looking angry. Yilena entered her room.
Babe how are you doing?I am sore. My mother and sister informed me who you want to stay with us. Yes. I don't need my sister nor my mother there. Katelyn will constantly worry and I don't need to see that. MY MOTHER WILL BE OVER BEARING AND A DOCTOR ON THAT I DONT NEED THAT.  I TOLD MY MOTHER SHE WILL NEED TO TAKE OVER FOR NOW AS THE CHIEF CORONER UNTIL I CAN RETURN.
Babe I was just trying to do what I felt was best for you. You. Julie,  and J is enough people there on top of the physical therapist.  My mother told me what she did that Julie approved.  I am glad Julie chose what she chose for me. Yilena I am on pain meds now but when I am discharged they will only prescribe two weeks of pain pills. My mother informed me she is going to remove all my pain medication and medical supplies so I don't try to doctor myself.  Babe sorry but I agree with them. Julie made a difficult decision.  Thank you for taking a leave of absence but please don't. Just go to work as usual. The physical therapist and Jane will be enough in the morning and afternoon until Julie and you get home. You sure yes. I don't want to constantly be mad at you because of the pain.
Babe I will take you whatever mood you are in.
I kiss Maura and she reciprocated. 
My mother told me no sex for awhile.  I will manage.  You sure yes. Please ask J and Julie to come in. This will give you time to go home and have the equipment to be set up and my mother to clean out my pain medications and other medical supplies.  I just ordered the exercise for your arm.
