I returned to the hospital and showed Maura a photo of what was delivered.

She said perfect location next to the pool which will also allow her to exercise her arm once the stitches vanishes. She sees the next photo on my cell.

Yilena this is so cute and sweet. Oh I saw this in a store window many years ago Maura. I always think of this when times get difficult not just for me but for others. It's a selfless sentiment which you are showing me and make me realize I chose the right person even with my feelings I still have for my wife. I am truly lucky you kissed and grabbed me that day. Maura raised up to give me a long kiss which I could feel and see her in physical pain. I helped her lower herself back down on her pillow and see tears coming down which caused me to cry too.

I kissed her hand and she nodded off to sleep in pain.
I held her hand throughout the night. I don't know when I eventually nodded off to be woken up to Jane and Julie holding one another. I heard my wife say to Julie. We may have screwed up our marriages but Yilena truly loves her. Yes, she does. I thought at first they hooked up to get back at us and I was pissed. Yes, hypocritical of me but she truly loves my wife. I couldn't be more happier for them babe. I know we fucked up but they won in the end the grand prize to one another. I pretended to be asleep when they were talking and made a slight sound waking up.
Aye you two how long have you been here? A few minutes. Julie got a call from the hospital to come and pick her up. The doctor signed her discharge papers. Julie brought her car so she would be comfortable. She is being released?
The nurse comes in and takes her last vitals which wakes up Maura.
Good morning Dr. Isles your wife and friends are here to take you home. I need to go over the discharge paperwork and have you signed them. If you can't, just put an x and your wife can sign below.
Maur put an x and Julie signed.
We left while Julie helped the nurse and her change into the clothes Yilena had brought her with her slippers. We were called back and the nurse wheeled her to Julie's car and helped her get inside with Julie's help and we got in and left to go to their home. We arrived and Julie pulls up close to the house and we help Maur get out and inside. I go back outside to get Julie and my bags and to lock up Julie's car.
Maur is knocked out when I get back inside. Yilena showed us to the room we would be staying in.

Julie and I unpack our belongings. Julie goes to sleep. She has a afternoon class to teach. Yilena goes to sleep too for a few hours before she goes to work. She contacted Frankie earlier and let him know she would be there at noon. She needed more sleep before she went in.
I texted my brother to update him on the situation.
He replied. Thanks for the update and try to get some sleep too. I eventually fell asleep.

I wake up hearing Juls and Yilena saying good bye and left to their jobs.
I enter their bedroom.
Aye sleeping beauty how did you sleep? Pretty good even though I am in pain. J I know me getting hurt and you taking a leave of absence is a burden and huge financial problem for you. I want to thank you now before I become a angry pain in the ass and moody towards you and pay you. Maur your not paying me. My properties will cover my salary and money will be tight but its okay. It's not forever and yes you always have been a pain in my ass and literally at times. So you will just get worse.
Maur starts to laugh.
J don't make me laugh. My stomach muscles still hurt. Maur I am just glad you are alive. Me too. J will you lay with me so I can put my head on your abs. Sure. Let me take off my shoes.
J removed her shoes and got into bed with me very carefully. She raised her Tshirt a little so my face could touch her skin. She knows how I like to feel her skin. We speak some and we both nod off.
We both finally wake up and see Julie and Yilena smiling and looking at us.
Aye Maur and I are on not on for display. Babe we are just happy you both can still be good friends and cuddle like you always have done as friends.

Me too. We talked and we both realized I may be more moody and a pain in the ass. But J says I have always been and literally at times. I offered to pay her for her missed salary for taking a leave of absence, but she won't take it. Jane I already deposited money into your account to cover you for the time it will need for her to recover. The therapist estimated four months. I did five just in case. Yilena you shouldn't of. I did this because it's the right thing to do. I don't want your money.

J I don't want to start laughing again so none of you respond to my last statement with a sexual response. J you are keeping the money and its final. J gets up and leaves. Julie goes after her and Yilena helps me up. Yilena tells me to let it go. She just needs time to allow it to sink in.
I find Jane in the exercise room with her hands wrapped and her hitting the punch bag hard.

I look up and Julie and continue hitting the bag hard. Julie wraps her arms around me and says cry its okay. I begin to ball like a little baby. Yilena and Maur see us and leaves us alone.
Julie it just hurts that I do something out of caring and they want to pay me. Jane they know you make money off your properties and they know you work hard for your money. They just don't want you to have to suffer financially for a few months. Julie that is not it. I am okay financially. I just didn't want to say that. I invested several Years ago into Amazon and it's doing well. I am okay. Yilena knows this but Maur doesn't. Jane just leave it alone. Especially since Yilena knows it. It's not hurting her nor anyone else but your pride. I have always worked for what I have. I bought my vehicles and paid them off. I know you did. Julie kisses me and we begin to make out and ended up making love on the floor next to the fireplace.
We get dressed and join Maur and Yilena.
Okay you two love birds. We are glad you are in a better mood J. Especially after all the moaning we heard and your mother did too. She came by to drop off dinner and left when she heard you screaming yes Juls yes Juls. I was not that loud. Yes you were Jane and I was near you. I can only imagine how loud it had to be for them to hear you. I am so embarrassed.
Jane leaves to call her mother. Jane returns.
My mother said hello to everyone and she hopes we enjoy the lasagna and salad with French bread she made us all. I told her we would. Maur she said no alcohol for you.
Maur smiles no problem J. Angela forgets I am a doctor at times. Alcohol and pain medication don't mix. Let's eat this food.

THEY LAUGHED AT ME. We continue to eat dinner and watch note book. Even though we all have seen it numerous times we all cried.
We all went to bed for the night.
