-Three years later-

Nobody POV:

A strange man has just infiltrated a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility via a portal in one of the research labs. He wields a strange looking staff with a bright blue stone at the center of it. His clothes signify that he is important to some degree. He is wearing a green and blakc outfit that has a gold like color surrounding the shoulders and neck. The stranger looks carefully around as he analyzes his new surroundings and smiles sadistically at the armed men approaching him.

"Sir please put down the spear." A man calls out from a distance. More and more agents are approaching the stranger with guns raised in case he tries anything. The stranger glances at the man who addressed him and looks back at his "spear." All of a sudden, he shoots a blue light out of the spear, directed towards the man who spoke to him earlier. He is pushed away form the blast and the guard begin opening fire on the stranger who attacked their boss.

The stranger leaps off the platform and stabs his weapon in the heart of the nearest guard. He turns around and throws two knives in the chests of two guards behind him. As he gets up and checks his surroundings he is shot in the chest, but the bullet merely ricochets off him. He sighed and shot a powerful blast killing two of the three personnel who just shot at him. The third manages to escape the blast and collects himself on the side.

Meanwhile, the stranger kicks a man into a wall, killing him upon impact. He makes way over to one of the previous shooters and puts his staff on the agent's chest. A blue smoke escapes from the stone in the middle of the staff and makes its way into the agent's chest. Suddenly his eyes turn blue and he drops the gun he was planning on using against the strange man. Upon doing so the stranger takes a breath, the agent's memories are now flooding through the stranger's head. Clint Barton, AKA Hawkeye. What a good find the stranger thinks to himself.

"Stop. I still need that." The stranger's voice is directed towards a man dressed in all black with an eyepatch. They both look at the object that was in the agent's hand. 'The tesseract. At long last' the stranger thinks. "This doesn't have to get any messier" the agent responds as he turns around.

"Of course it does. I've come too far for anything else. I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose" the stranger, now identified as Loki, gestures to the agent. "Loki. Brother of thor?" A scientist asks as he recognizes gods name. This must be one of the mortals that my dear brother mentioned. Pathetic." Loki thinks to himself.

"I come with glad tidings, of a world made free." Loki says as he moves closer to the scientist who spoke earlier. "Free from what?" the agents dressed in black questions "Freedom. Freedom is life's great lie. Once you accept that, in your heart --"

Like a gunslinger, Loki draws his scepter and places the edge in the man's chest. And like what happened earlier, the scientist's eyes turn blue and make no moves towards thor. "You will know peace." The agent scoffs and says " Yeah, you say peace, I kind of think you mean the other thing." Clint approaches the god of mischief and suggests they leave. "Sir, Director Fury is stalling. This place is about to blow. Drop a hundred feet of rock on us. He means to bury us."

The scientist agrees and details the number for his new boss. Loki looks at Hawkeyes seemingly giving the order. "Well then..."

Hawkeye draws his gun and shoots Fury in the chest, making him drop the container that held the tesseract. The group walks over to the body and collects the case before heading to the nearest exit. Once they escape from the lab, Hawkeyes spots a jeep and motions for the group to get inside so they can leave the building. They are about to leave before a nearby agent opens fire on the group and jumps in a nearby jeep, chasing after them.
