The Avengers - Part 5

"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor demanded. "Oh-ho, I missed you too." Loki said between his laughs and coughs. "Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor said as he narrowed his eyes at Loki.

Loki scoffed and looked at Thor. "Oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone, much many dark energ did the All-Father have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth." Loki said with spite in his voice.

Thor drops his hammer, Mjolnir, and pulls Loki to his feet.

"I thought you dead." Thor said as he rapidly approached Loki and pulled him close. "Did you mourn?" Loki jested. Thor looked at Loki with somber eyes and a voice to match is tone. "We all did. Our father-" Loki raised a finger and interrupted his brother. "Your father. He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?" Loki smiled and pushed Thor off of him.

"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that!?" Thor was looking for any sign that the brother he used to know was still alive. But much to his dismay, it seems he was killed a long time ago.

Loki turned around and threw his arms in the air. "I remember a shadow, living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I who was and should be king!" Loki declared. "So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights? No. The Earth is under my protection, Loki." Thor said.

Loki let out out a sigh. "Well yes." As if it was obvious. "Then you miss the truth of ruling,
brother. Throne would suit you ill." Thor said as he still tried to reason with his brother.

Loki pushes past Thor and walks away, Thor follows.

  Loki moves to the edge of the cliff and overlooks the valley. "I've seen worlds you've never known about. I have grown, Odinson, in my exile. I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it..." Thor cut his brother off and move closer. "Who showed you this power? Who controls the would-be-king?" Thor demanded

"I am a king!" Loki shout. "Not here. You give up the Tesseract; you give up this poisonous dream! You come home." Thor was right in front of Loki and had a pleasing look on his face. Loki looked away and kept his gaze anywhere that wasn't Thor. "I don't have it" he revealed. "You need the cube to bring me home but I've sent it off I know not where."

Thor summons Mjolnir and holds it ready.

"You listen well brother..." Iron Man flies in, knocking him and Thor into the forest and away from Loki. "I'm listening."

Back in the forest Iron man and Thor our exchanging words regarding Lokis... 'citizenship.' "He gives up the cube, he's all yours. Till then...Stay out of the way." Tony drops his faceplate and turns to leave. "Fucking tourists..." he mutters under his breath.

Unfortunately for him Thor heard him. And with a loud grunt, Thor sent his hammer into Tony's chest which knocks the billionaire a few feet back. As soon as he gets to his feet, Thor sends a charge of lightning from his hammer to the iron man in hopes of trying his system. That seemed to have the opposite effect, as Tony's suit was now overcharged and he needed to release the new power.

And he did so with a blast of high a impact emergent beam releasing from the square chest piece in the middle if his suit.

The two stand ready then fly at each
other, smashing through the trees and scraping up a cliff side. Trees are toppled as they crash to the forest grounds. Thor and Iron Man stand quickly. Thor sends in a left hook so Iron Man is about to punch but Thor grabs his fist. Tony is about to send in his left hook and Thor grabs that too. Thor begins to crush Iron Man's right gauntlet with ease.

Iron Man lifts his palm, that is being crushed, and he fires a blast at Thor's face -- it does nothing to Thor so he head butts him. Thor headbutts him back. Iron Man flies back, coming to a stop before launching himself at Thor. Iron Man throws Thor into a broken tree.
