Donghyuck woke up, remembering everything that happened only yesterday because it was yesterday.

He remembered how, when he and Jaemin arrived they had to sneak past everything making sure his parents didn't see him. 

It made him wonder what happened to him in the past 3 Years for him to act all scared of his bloody parents. But then it hit him that the cause of his softness was Mark Lee. 

The boy who he now accepts for having a crush on. He doesn't want to accept it but what can you say, when you have fallen in love accepting it is the best thing to do unless you want it to get worse.

"Morning Donghyuck," Jaemin said, yawning as Donghyuck rolled his eyes. When Donghyuck was finally ready to go downstairs he went into the kitchen seeing his father and mother sitting at the dining table.

He sat down with Jaemin following after, as his mother got up to get their breakfasts, slipping something into the glass of water for both Jaemin and him that caught his eye. 

It was not something he would see his parents doing. His parents surely wouldn't poison him and Jaemin. Right?

"Donghyuck, Jaemin, we need to talk, eat up ." His mother said putting his food on the table with the water he knew was containing something. He nodded to his mother and started eating. 

"Donghyuck, it is the Triwizard Tournament in your coming year." Jinki started while Donghyuck took a bite of his porridge. 

"You will need to know that this will be the time the school is at its weakness and Mark's and your names will be pulled out of the cup whether you like it or not." 

Donghyuck choked at the sudden statement and started to cough as Jaemin passed his cup of water. Donghyuck wondered if the Professors would even allow it. 

"Here Donghyuck drinks your water," Jaemin said they tampered with the glass not knowing the content in it. 

Donghyuck unknowingly drank the whole thing to realise what he just drank. He cursed to himself as his mother and father smiled. 

"I know you noticed we did something with your drink." They noticed how Jaemin finished his cup just after looking at the two parents in shock. 

"Don't worry it's not poison, now we can talk properly. What I said earlier was the truth, you will be chosen and nobody will deny that." Jinki continued. 

"But the main thing is, care to explain to me, why the fuck Dracul is pissed off at you!" Jinki yelled, raising his voice so loud it startled everyone in the room waiting for a response from one of the boys. 

"This is not the way I told you to speak! Why are you not answering!" Jinki shouted, extremely pissed off at what has happened to Donghyuck. 

"I have no idea father." Donghyuck felt the worst trying to escape his mouth. He knew it was because of Veritaserum. 

"But I think one reason is because of Mark Lee." Jaemin looked at Donghyuck shocked. 

"Explain." His father raised an eyebrow. Donghyuck took an unnoticeable deep breath before speaking.

 "I have completed Mark gaining full trust in me, I have completed the fact that most of his friends are broken and I have successfully made Mark fall for me and break he hear." He paused looking directly into his father's eyes. 

"In this process, I too have fallen for Mark Lee and I apologise." Jinki looked at his son in a way that Donghyuck thought was his father adjusting to what his thoughts on Mark were. 

He saw as Jinki raised his hand thinking it was just going to pat his shoulder. But it didn't.

Donghyuck felt a sharp sting on his cheek, rubbing his hand across the area to realise his father just slapped him.
