Mark felt a thud when he was taken to another place. He realised he was back in the Great Hall.
He sighed in relief before looking at what he landed on. Gasps were heard from people wondering what happened to Mark and Donghyuck after they took the trophy.
Tears started to stream down Mark's face as he started to panic checking if Donghyuck was alright remembering the green light. Donghyuck's pulse was leaving. And saving him felt impossible.
"Don't leave me Donghyuck." Mark chanted to himself as he heard footsteps approach him.
Time was ticking and so was Donghyuck's pulse. The memories invaded Mark's mind as he screamed in pain remembering Dracul's return.
He looked at his hands seeing the red liquid painted on his hands. He felt his wound finding out it had reopened and his blood left him quicker than earlier.
He then remembered Donghyuck too was bleeding there and it was because they were bonded.
Mark cried over Donghyuck's body, his mind a mess, wondering if Donghyuck was going to live, hoping that he returned back to normal just like everything else.
Nobody cared about them and it felt like instead of people going to help them they were just watching like nobody was bleeding.
"Mark!" He heard the crowd yell before his eyes started to become heavy. A girl screams as Mark fell into someone's arms.
They were Johnny's, and he knew that because he saw his face and felt his big hands.
"H-He's back!" Mark yelled.
"A-And Donghyuck's n-not-" He wailed unable to finish his sentence as he saw Donghyuck's body taken away, his missing hand bleeding just as much as his wound.
"Help him, please! He helped me!" Mark grieved.
"He saved me from him!" Mark was hushed by Leeteuk who was next to him and understood everything Mark said. Johnny held onto his wound and took him away to a separate room.
"Hold on Mark. We'll get you patched up first then you can talk. I promise just hang in there." Johnny said carrying the crying boy in his hands away from the students.
They were shocked at how Mark and Donghyuck were just there, vanished then came back with blood and a dying boy.
The two were quickly taken to the hospital wing where Mark's stab wound was sewn up, since he was done, so was Donghyuck's.
Meanwhile, Donghyuck's breathing was still unstable as he tried to stay alive.
Mark slowly watched as it looked like Donghyuck's life was drifting away. He saw Donghyuck's eyes flutter open red in panic, but it could just be him.
Donghyuck was taken away to another stall where the curtains were shut and all he could see was the sheets.
"Mark we need to talk," Leeteuk said grabbing a chair and sitting on it beside Mark's bed.
"Care to share what happened?" He asked concerned about how scared he looked.
"He's back..." Leeteuk nodded agreeably.
"Donghyuck's hand got cut to a-and I couldn't do anything after I was able to escape." Mark mourned.
"H-He almost killed him Leeteuk! And I couldn't do anything! It was all thanks to Donghyuck!" The younger tried fighting back the urge to wail.
"And now he's going to die! Because... of... me!" Mark cried out, hiccuping the last words.
"I know, I know. Don't worry." Leeteuk said stroking Mark's hair as he gradually calmed down.
