wife to a hero, her quirk is Nanite, she also has a natural born large I.Q. and photographic memory
> Nanite: her body produces nanites that she controls, she can use them to build things and heal, as well as invade other bodies and gain intel that no one else can, such as quirk, age weakness, past injuries etc.
Weakness: if she confuses something in her mental state the nanites will glitch and even can freeze in their jobs, she also gets headaches if she is scanning to much at once
She met her husband when they were beginning middle school when she moved back to Japan from America, her first friend (future husband but she didn't know it at the time) Toshi, was a silly goofball with the dream to be a hero despite being quirkless, she supported him through and through, and they even began the dream of becoming a heroic duo.
When Toshi friend mysteriously got his quirk out of the blue, he told her everything, no secret kept, she got mad at him because she believed in his quirkless hero dream and that he didn't need a quirk, but he fought back saying he did and that she had no idea what it was like to be bullied for being a freak, their fight went on for a while more and soon they just stopped being friends.
In high-school they both went to U.A. and were in the same Hero Course, 1-A to be in fact, they never spoke to each other, unless had to for an assignment, but behind each other's backs would give the other longing looks. Their class took it as they were madly in love with each other but too shy to talk. (because of course, WHY ELSE!? would they longingly stare at each other -_-)
They both made friends with an Enji Todoroki, a powerful fire user in their class, but never spent time together as the three of them due to her and Toshi having had a fight. Enji got pissed at this, at some point and got the class to help lock them in a closet, to help resolve their issues, and they did, becoming friends again.
All throughout high-school the three of them (Enji, Toshi, and Akira) were always seen together, Toshi and Enji fighting but friendly fire fighting, and Akira dragging her two guy-friends along when they knocked each other out.
That is until in their third year, when Rei came along and joined the group, around this time is when Akira and Toshi started to get the feels for each other, and Enji was falling in love with Rei.
SIDE NOTE: Rei was not a hero but she was a support course and helped build gadgets for the three hero friends she had.
At some point the two "would-be couples" admitted and got together with their lovers, these relationships continued until they married but not without issues.
After graduation Toshi went to America to be a hero, While Akira and Enji became hero's in Japan, and Rei decided to drop out of being a support course and just became Mrs. Todoriki.
Toshi kept a long-distance relationship with Akria until one night she didn't show up to their scheduled date. He got worried but just thought she was busy with hero work. For 2 LONG weeks he had no contact with her, until his phone rang and he answered it in hopes to hear her voice. What he got was his old friend Enji using her phone and apologizing to him, saying she had gone MIA on a mission and many people thought she was dead as the villain she was going after always made heroes vanish then reappear somewhere else......but she never reappeared
Toshi was devastated and not long after returned to Japan to be the number 1, of course Enji/Endeavor, being the #2 (there's a side story/backstory as to why Endeavor is such an arse to his kids but meh details)
Years later, MANY years later (in fact right after the war arc of MHA) All Might is dying due to a quirk that's speeding up his already deteriorating body. Enji, who found out where Akira was about a month prior but drama was happening so he really couldn't do much to save her, sent a small squad into the area where she was (another dimension that the villain used when he teleported), his own son, Shoto, Koda, Shoji and Mirio (i know he lost his quirk but let him be a hero)
The group wandered in and began searching, they found her in her hero costume and a bit crazed. They tried to get her to come but she didn't understand much of what they wanted so was very defensive. But then Shoji said "Todoroki stop!" because Shoto was angry and about to throw a fireball at the back of her head. The mention of the name snapped her into focus, she ordered the kids to get her out of there, met up with Enji, slapped his face, then hugged him then was led to the specific hospital where her husband was (they married during a trip to America made by her for hero work but no one knew other than Enji and Rei as they had attended) and healed him fully.
