right before we get into it read this:
The world she's from is a bit of an AU sort of thing? Where the main character from the fandom which i will not be revealing JUST yet is related to another character, character B, by like descendant of the brother of character B, get it?
No, er... character B had a family and a little brother, but had to leave them to chase a great evil to defeat it, leaving behind his family, his brother grew up and had a family and his lineage kept going until the Main character MC was born, and even then, he only became the main character of his show when he got to high school
Not sure if this is already an AU or i made it up either waaaay
Yin, Daughter of an aristocratic Japanese family
Her parents are quite set in the olden ways, and are looking for a suitor for her, but none seem to match their desires/standards
> Strong willed, but not egotistical
> A strong physic, but not a body builder
> Attractive, to both them and their daughter (they want pretty grand babies)
> Courageous, but smart enough to know when something is to much
> Kind, but not just as a show
> Athletic, but not dumb brawn
> Intelligent, but not nerdy/thinking they are better than others
> Flexible, but not bone breaking in the process
The list goes on
So far, the men that have come have all had one flaw or another, so her parents have turned them away again and again, they are getting quite fed up, until Lady Shoji (yes i know, shush) came over one day and told them her grandson was finally visiting Japan for the first month of his summer break, and that they were invited to come meet him.
The parents had hopes, despite knowing Lady Shoji did not like the forced marriage/suitor approach to love, and prepared Yin to meet the boy
Time passed and his arrival came, the family went for dinner and got to meet the boy, a lanky, but strong, flexible but not damaging his body, purple haired blue-eyed male from America, who seemed to fit all their desires/standards as the night progressed, one thing was the problem, Yin.
While she found him attractive in appearance, he infuriated her, for no reason! (B- it was because he was perfect, and you know it, but your prissy booty can't handle the thought of having found The ONE) his laugh made her eye twitch, his American accent sent her shivering in horror, his weird slang had her confused as everything, and his eyes! They were like miniature oceans! They had so much mystery and stories hidden behind them but showed and easy and calm attitude
When the night finished her parents were ecstatic to have found such a suitor, while Yin was fearing for her future.
Her parents ordered her to spend as much time with him as she could during his one month stay, and as an order she had to follow, so by his side she stayed and helped him learn about his heritage
He once asked what his Japanese name might have been had he not been in America and Yin had to ask for his American name, he told her "Randel (Randal?)" She had to think for a moment before taking the guess of "Randakashi" he liked it and soon kept asking anyone who tried to call him Randal or his shortened version of it to call him by his ^Japanese^ (because it's not the name his parents gave him it's just a name his friend gave him so the ^ ^ were needed in my opinion) name, and many complied
A month passed by quicker than normal, and Randakashi left for America again, after his departure, Yin soon realizes she had fallen in love and wished to be by his side more, sadly she could not.
Buuut Lady Shoji had other plans
Lady Shoji had Yin sent to America because Randakashi had spoken so much about her and said he would miss her, but she didn't send Yin until the beginning of the school year, and so Yin started her second year of high school in Randakashi's school
When Yin arrived, she was introduced and she was swarmed with questions, like "was her hair natural or not?" "Did she understand English?", etc. It went like this until the door was banged open and none other than Randakashi came skidding in apologizing for being late.
Yin lit up, and hugged him, he squawked then realized who it was and became happy hugging her back
The school progressed and she learned of the Ninja and other things about the town of Norrisvile, she learned how to be a normal teen and even started calling Randakashi, Randy, which he'd just tell her to call him by what she was comfortable with.
And her feelings for him kept growing, but she could tell he did not love her in return, but she wasn't going to complain, being beside him as his friend was enough for her.
