Lady Vivian, Spirit of the Black Lion
She took on the form of an Altean years ago to be able to walk amongst her pilot's friends (back when Zarkon was pilot of the Black Lion) she befriended Coran and told him her secret and made him swear an oath, he gladly kept her secret
Her story is set after the Voltron series, she hides away in space watching her pilots (Shiro and Keith) from far off, ^seeing^ them through her bonds with them, she notices a danger lurking and takes on her Altean form and goes to earth, of course only Coran knows of her true nature but he's ecstatic to see her again
^Vivian^ does her best to help the paladins that are left, even if she is wary of the man Shiro married, something about him irks her (she doesn't care who the f- they marry so long as they don't plot to kill her cubs)
Soon a new threat arises, but none of her sisters and brother (the other lions) deem it a threat for their interference so she fights alongside her paladins and her family's paladins as Vivian.
At some point Lance will figure out her secret and helps her keep it hidden alongside Coran, and Vivian teaches Lance the call of the lions, planning on offering him a choice to become a lion if he so desired
Also at some point, a few of the paladins and a few others get captured and forced away from earth, unknown to the captors Vivian's lion is a few feet away from their ship hiding, Vivian (who was also captured) alerts Lance and Coran of this (Shiro and kith weren't taken) and tells Lance she will allow him to pilot her if they can escape.
