Chapter 11

A new day arose. Mine was in the hot spring taking a bath as she kept opening and closing her right hand. She was out of commission after their scuffle with Seryu in the park.

Mine: Great. It's all better.

She stood up before drying herself off and getting dressed. She wrapped strands of cloth around her wrist as she was sprinting to the training field.

Mine: Alright! Which one of you is going to train with me?

She got no response as Tatsumi and Lubbock was in the field doing push-ups. Akame was on Tatsumi's back while Leone was on Lubbock's. Y/N was also there. He was shirtless as he practiced his striking and defending on a Wing Chun. The 3 of them were putting all they had into it. Sweat was shining like oil off their bodies.

Tatsumi: Hey, Mine. What's up?

Akame: I'm glad your arm is feeling better.

Mine: What are you guys doing?

Leone: Apart from Y/N, these 2 weren't getting along with their training, so we decided to help out.

Tatsumi: Yeah. I never realized, when I put on Incursio, how fast that takes a toll on my stamina. If I'm going to want to wear as long as bro did, I'm gonna have to bulk up. With the way I am right now, I can only go invisible for a second. Maybe 2.

Mine blushed a tiny bit as she was impressed with how hard he was working since Bulat died.

Mine: It's a bit unusual to see you getting all sweaty, Lub.

Lubbock: Well, since the team's only down to 3 guys now... I figured it was about time I got a little bit serious.

Leone: It's cute when you talk all big. Even though you haven't done half as many push-ups as Tatsumi here.

Akame: But it's not his fault. There's a considerable weight difference between me and Leone.

The field froze as everyone's eyes widened. Y/N was in the middle of practicing and he let a wooden pole hit his face after hearing that. He didn't even dare to move. Leone gave Akame a good punch on the head.

Najenda: Good. You're all here.

Leone: Boss!

Najenda: I'm heading off to the revolutionary's main base. They could use the weapons we gathered from The Three beasts.

Tatsumi: You're taking that axe? Isn't kind of heavy.

Najenda: Nah, I can handle it. Now there's no way that I'll be able to use it, but I can at least lug it around.

Tatsumi: [I had no idea she was such a badass.]

Lubbock:[Of course she's a badass. She was a General, man.]

Najenda: Akame, I'm leaving you in charge. I want everyone to get to work and train hard.

Akame: Sure. Whatever.

Y/N: Can you take this seriously?

Lubbock: Don't worry. Akame gets the job done either way.

Najenda: Aside from that, the empire has taken another step down from power now that The Three Beasts are gone. You didn't just save passengers. You saved nationalists that will help us have an edge over the empire in the political sense. Be proud.

Tatsumi: I'm sorry guys. I'm going to get stronger.

Leone: Bulat told me something. I didn't tell you because I didn't want it to go to your head.

Bulat: Tatsumi's one tough kid. If he's trained right, he can do so many great things. he might even be able to surpass me one of these days. I can't wait to see what he does.
