Caitlin Snow was working shift at the diner with her best friend Kara Danvers. They were working for Kitchen when Caitlin said "Have you heard of this knew thing where you put salt in your arm pits and it's like this perfume thing"

"Are you saying I smell?" Kara said

"No" Caitlin said and then a customer who came yesterday came and sat down with a rose in his hand.

"You have to take him" Kara said

"Why me?" Caitlin complains tightening her ponytail

"Because he's been eyeing you and I smell" Kara teases and Caitlin moves toward the man sitting in the booth.

"You waiting for somebody?" She asks a little bit coldly and he shook his head. "I'll give you a minute to look over the menu" she said and was about to walk away when he said something.

"I was in here yesterday, Caitlin" he read her name tag "I'll have the soup, turkey burger, coleslaw and no fries and extra scries of tomato" and she was writing all of this down as he said it. She nodded and was about to walk off when he said. "I write books, Do you read books? What are you reading now"

"You know um Finnegan's Wake by James Joyce?" She says and he nods "My friend told me that it is the hardest book in the English language. I mean not the hardest, hardest but the hardest one in that you can read."

"How long have you been reading it?" He says

"Six years" Caitlin replies sheepishly "I'll be back with your soup"

Caitlin was adding up all the money when Kara came next to her "He likes you"

"He's a dick" Caitlin says

"He was here yesterday and now he's back today with a rose and want to make conversation with you" Kara says following Caitlin around.

"Okay he likes me" Caitlin says putting some dishes away

"So do you like him" Kara says

"I don't know him" Caitlin says

"What has that got to do anything, when a guy is actually cuter than you and likes you" Kara said

"He's cuter than me?" Caitlin asks and raises an eyebrow

"Face it Caitlin no one is going to go for you because of your looks" Kara said and Caitlin smiled at her best friend.

"Oh that sucks, because my personality bites" Caitlin teases wiping down the benches. Kara chuckles and they both walk away to get their food out. Caitlin serves the food to this mystery crush. She handed him his soup and and said "You don't really write books do you?"

"No" he said

"It's okay, I don't really read Finnegan's Wake either" She said with a smile.

"I'm going into law enforcement" He said

"Who's the rose for?" She asks and he smiles at her not saying anything "Enjoy your food" Caitlin said with a sweet smile and was about to walk away.

"Hey" he said to get her attention and made her turn around "You" he said holding up the rose and she smiled.

Then a man in a nearby booth asked Caitlin's admirer "How much did you settle on?"

"What?" He asked confused

"The bet, how much is it?" The man in the next booth repeated he then stood up and said "Your friend yesterday in the booth how much did you settle on 200, 500"

"What?" Caitlin asked confused

"Yesterday, with his friend he bet that he could get in your pants by noon tomorrow" he said and the other guy got up.

"Is this your business what are you? The moral police" he said sarcastically. And then the man in the other booth grabbed his shirt "Hey, take it easy man I was just having some fun" The man then let go of the other mans shirt and he walked out.

"Thank you for standing up for me" Caitlin said

"I would have felt bad if I kept quiet" He said "Good luck I guess" and he waled out the door. Caitlin looked at Kara who saw the whole thing unfold and she motioned for her to go after him. Caitlin rolled her eyes before going to meet Jay Garrick.

Caitlin and Jay got married and were madly in love. They were the couple that everyone envied. Caitlin felt like a teenager on their wedding night, she was so madly in love and glad that she had met him in that diner. She was swaying with her husband on the dance floor when they were interrupted by Harrison Wells. "Now Jay I know you don't believe in this but in my family it is tradition to give the groom money" Wells said handing him the envelope.

"Thank you" Jay said and put the money in his blazer pocket.

"I'm very sorry but I have a big meeting tomorrow and have o get up really early so I am going to have to leave" he said

"Well thank you for coming and walking down the isle, you the best substitute father a girl could ask for" she said hugging him

"I'm no substitute I'm the real thing" Wells sand and Caitlin smiled and broke away from the hug. Caitlin and Jay then got back to dancing on the wedding floor.

A few months after they got married they found out that Caitlin was pregnant and they both decided to go house hunting. Near their street there was a beautiful house that Caitlin loved but it was not for sale. "Jay what are we doing?" she asked as he dragged her in front of the house

"Just trust me" he said and knocked on the door. "Hello" he said with a bright smile.

"We have been driving around all day and my wife has fallen completely in love with your house." Jay said and Caitlin smiles brightly at the man who is at the door.

"It's great isn't it" The elderly man said stepping outside the door and closing it slightly.

"We want to buy it" Jay said "She wants it for our family"

"It's not for sale" The man stated

Jay handed him a little slip and Caitlin just as her husband worked his magic "That's the price, it is well above marketing price"

"Your out of your mind" the elderly man said

"That's just it" Jay said and looked at his wife who was carrying his child. "So before you say no, just think how miserable one determined crazy person can make you, today, tomorrow pretty much everyday until you sell" Jay said. The old man smiled at Caitlin and looked back to Jay. Next thing Caitlin knew Caitlin was moving into this big beautiful dream house.

6 months later Jay was at work dealing with some clients when he got a call from Caitlin. The baby was coming. He was there through the labor and she was born into the world. They're beautiful baby girl. She specifically resembled her mother. Jay was holding her rocking her side by side and Caitlin starred in awe at the sight of her husband and daughter.

5 year later Ellie was running around the beach and Caitlin and Jay were resting in the sand. Ellie came and fell onto of Caitlin who smiled and lifted Ellie back up so she was standing in the sand. "What you got their honey?" She asks her daughter and saw the number of seashells she collected on the beach.
