The next day morning had dawned. JJ and Kiara ended themselves back at the château. The ride wasn't silent this time around. It wasn't that awkward and uncomfortable tension some would have after doing what they did. The need of avoidance never even encountered their train of thought.

Kiara had her hand intertwined with his the whole way there. Listening to the sound of the music, planting small kisses every now and then, and existing in the moment for as long as they could.

JJ stirred, fluttering his eyes. Her brown curls were the first thing he saw as his arm draped over her waist with her back touching his chest. He felt a sheer amount of excitement seeing and feeling her in his touch. The butterflies were brewing in the pit of his stomach.

He leaned down slightly planting a small kiss to her head.

"Mornin." She mumbled quietly.

"Mornin. You've been up all this time?"

"Mhm, I didn't want to wake you so I just stayed."

The inevitable thought of leaving is a thought she despises. It ruins good moments because of her  parents say so and utter displeasure of her life choices. Kiara wants to finally do something for herself without fearing their disapproval. So she kept herself in his peace.

She turned around in his grasp with her nose meeting with his. Her hand found itself on the nape of his neck with her gaze joining his eyes.

"Kinda sucked that it took so long." He said.

"Yeah, but at least we have our whole lives together. Imagine the things we could do."

His face relaxed into a grin with the thought of that being possible for them.

"So that means we're-"

Kiara didn't give him the slightest chance to finish as she already answered, "Yes, a thousand percent."

He chuckled, bringing himself closer to her lips. If anyone would have told JJ about this sudden change, he'd probably laugh in their face. But not all dreams are inconceivable.

They pulled away slowly.

"J-" She spoke.

"Hm-"

There was a pause. Not an unsure pause because she was everything but. It was a realization. For the longest time she replaced her feelings with how she truly felt for him with what she could tell herself to. That he was her best friend. That he didn't care about sappy things like that. Then everything started to triple up or tumble down. Less words started being said and more actions were being done. They grew older and till now she knows how she feels. Saying it only makes it fair.

"I love you." Her voice was soft and her eyes meant every part of it.

JJ was taken aback. Of course he knows that she has feelings for him otherwise last night wouldn't have been what it was. But he wanted to believe that love was too big of an assumption so he wouldn't make a complete fool out of himself. Seems like he was wrong.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"I'm making sure I heard right."

"I said-" she began to place her arms around his neck, "I love you, JJ."

His face still fixed itself into a slight shock.

"Can you like...say that in a video for me?"

She broke out into a small giggle, "Want me to spell it out for you with an airplane too?"
