9:52am

Cameras shuttered as microphones, journalists and reporters had flocked into the church front. The doors were rightfully locked, but it didn't stop people from banging on the windows or knocking on the doors.

"May we speak with the survivor?"

"What did she see? Who attacked her?"

"Are we safe in our own homes?"

"WE WANT ANSWERS!"

Question after question bombarded the churchfront.

Ruv was on the other side of the door, just out of view from the windows. He knew being aggressive wouldn't help anyone, but he could not help but be furious from head to toe that this was how the town would react.. Not even a moment's peace...

He held a pistol lowly in his hands, growing more irritant at each thud that came to the door and every stone that was thrown at the windows. Pleadingly, he looked in the hallway direction, hoping Sarv would come out soon.

In the back, Sarv was nervously pacing the kitchen, stressed.

"Doesn't common sense run through these people's heads?! Can't they understand that she doesn't wanna be interviewed?" Selever spat, arguably just as livid as Ruv. He was sitting at the table by Rasazy, who was wrapped in a blanket and looked tired out of her mind. She hadn't even slept that night.

Sarv poked her head out the kitchen to see if the crowd had died down. It looked like it had gotten worse, matter of fact...

As the crowd got increasingly overwhelming, Ruv frustratedly growled and spun around, kicking open the door and firing a shot into the sky. "GET BACK." He howled, his voice ringing through the clearing.

"We must speak with the victim, sir!"

"How do we know you didn't hurt her?!"

"You're hiding something!" They began to get angry.

Ruv pointed the pistol at the crowd, grimacing. "Not another step, any of you. Disperse, NOW." He commanded, narrowing his eye as he looked at each resident. He recognized someone amongst the crowd, but batted his eye in hopes that they'd leave.

Selever and Sarvente exited the kitchen, looking over at the commotion.

"Good riddance.." Selever spat.

"Sel! This isn't right... I'll try to talk to them... You stay back here with her.." She sighed, holding her head and reapproaching the open door. She padded beside Ruv and slowly brushed his shoulder. He was in a cold sweat... "Go inside Ruvvy..." She sweetly said, dropping his hands.

"Please, our daughter needs time to heal... Give her time to and just maybe you'll get your answers, but for now, not even we know what happened.. So just go..." She explained to the crowd, watching empathy come to some of their faces, but skepticism on others'.
