When you first met the god, you were completely terrified and confused. You had thought that he'll be cruel and disgusted by you. Calling you by the names of 'peasant' or 'servant'. You had thought that he'll make you do everything he says, everything being given to him in a silver tray. Your life in misery and paying your debt for letting the dreamons loose.

But sitting down on the couch while you glanced at the god, you couldn't help but smile. XD was on your tablet playing games, a small smile painting his face. He looked like a small child, entertained by anything that appeared on the screen. Once in a while he'll let out an airy laugh.

It has been what? Three weeks? A month? It's been a while since you first met each other and chased dreamons. Those days have passed on quicker than you wanted them too. Knowing that you are going to have to let him go made left a stinging feeling in your heart. As selfish as you may sound, you wanted him to stay with you forever.

Maybe developing a crush on him was a bad idea, because now it's becoming more than just a mere crush. You knew that this would happen, yet, you didn't stop yourself knowing the full consequences of your action. You know you're going to regret it later.

It was already noon when you decided to turn off the television before making your way to the kitchen to make lunch for both you and the god. You had decided on making some sub sandwiches. As you opened the fridge to get the ingredients you needed, you felt a presence behind you. Inhaling sharply, you turn around to find the XD towering over you as he attentively watches you. He takes a step back from your form to give you space to breathe.

"Oh fuck! Are you trying to scare me?" you say as you take a deep breath, relaxing your tensed muscles and soothing your thumping organ. You didn't even notice when XD had gone off from the couch. He must have quietly made his way to the kitchen so we wouldn't disturb you, which was ironic since it had the opposite effect on you.

"Sorry. Just wanted to see what you were doing" The god says in a soft voice, feeling bad for startling you.

"Its fine, just next time, try not give me a heart attack" You say as you send XD a smile to reassure him that you weren't mad at him "Anyways, why were you sneaking on me"

XD perks up "because I wanted to see what you were doing. And because I have an idea"

An idea. Every time XD said that he had an idea, it was always something that would lead into disaster. You learned your lesson the first time he had an idea. Never again are you going to let XD to bake a cake on his own. Last time it exploded, which you still don't know how, splattering cake and frosting all over the kitchen. And looking at his goofy smile and twinkling eyes, you knew that he was up to no good.

"And what is this idea?" you said with a bit of hesitation. You hoped that XD would say something along the lines of 'never it isn't important' or 'just playing with you', but the bright smile he had plastered on his face told you otherwise.

"Am glad you asked! I want to bake a cake again!" and there it is.

"Cake? Again? Last time it exploded" you said as you raised a brow.

XD scoffs. "Well that was last time. It won't happen again"

"No" you bluntly said as you closed the fridge and moved around his figure to the counter, ignoring his protest against your rejection. You didn't have to turn around to know that he is trying to make a puppy face as a way to make you change your mind.

"What if we baked it together?"

You turned around to be face to face with XD. Your face had a soft green glow from how much XD's eyes were shining. In a way, it was blinding you. Blinking to adjust to the sudden lighting, you step to the side and ignore the god's attempt of trying to convince you to bake a cake with him

A thought formed at the back of your minding, debating whether it is a good idea to make a cake with XD. On one hand you can monitor and help XD bake something for the first time that doesn't include exploding cake, making it a fun experience. While that does sound like a good idea, it can also go very wrong.

Grumbling to yourself, you decided that just for today you'll give in to the god's pleas. What can go wrong?

"Well, I guess we can- XD?" I blinked in surprise to see that the god was gone. He was just here a moment ago, so where has he gone? "XD?" You called again, looking everywhere to make sure you didn't miss him.

But the only thing that answered your calls were the echoes of our own voice.

"We need to talk"

DreamXD rolled his eyes at the upper level god who has teleported him out from the kitchen of your dorm and into a dark alleyway. He was having a good day. He had a plan to bake a cake with you, wanting to spend some time with you. But of course nothing goes his way. He should have seen it coming.

"I have nothing to speak with you" XD says as he turns his back to Foolish, not wanting to hear anything from him at the moment. Last time they talked, Foolish humiliated him in front of all the gods, leaving a dent in his reputation.

"It is an important matter involving that human you are so determined to hide" Foolish says as he cross his arms in front of his chest, becoming annoyed that the lower god is being rude when all he is trying to do is help.

Upon hearing the word 'human', XD quickly turns around, raising his brows as he gives in to whatever Foolish had to say. XD thought he knew what the upper god was going to say. He expected to hear questions about you and your existence. But as words rolled off Foolish mouth, he felt his reality shattered into millions of pieces.

"They need to die"

Um, hi. I know it's been a long time since I have updated, and I know that I made promises of updating soon. I am very, very sorry for not updating for like what? More than 8 months? I feel like I am a bad author, but am going to try my best to actually update this story instead of just saying that I will. (am literally going to force myself to update at least 5 times for the next few weeks to keep myself motivated)

And if you haven't noticed, yes Foolish wants you dead. And this is where the story starts to get spicy :). I actually already have the ending written, I just need to write the build up to it. So I am very excited about that.

Also, sorry for the short chapter, this just kinda my way of getting off my writer's block and get back on the grind.
