Beam POV
Today is the third day in this village. Today we visited some homes. To the people couldn't reach to our camp. Others left to the camp. I am sitting alone at a hill. Here people have created a beautiful garden. It is filled with different types of flowers. There is a big tree in the middle of the garden. I am sitting a bench near the tree. It is quite peaceful here. It is a nice evening. I was enjoying the nature till,
" it is beautiful isn't it?".
Oh, no the last person I want to be with now. He sat down near me. I got up saying nothing. But he grabbed me by arms. And cornered me between the tree.
" why are you running away from me Beam"
I didn't say anything. Hoping he would leave me alone.
" keeping your mouth shut won't help you Beam. Speak up or we will stay here until you talk"
" I was not running away ". I said to him while looking away from him.
" Look me in the eyes when you talk "
" I said I am not running away ". I Said while looking at him. Please forth just leave me. I don't want to break my promise with Phana.
" then why don't you ever talk to me. You don't even look at me. You avoid me every time I try to talk to you"
" why does it matter Forth? It is not like we were close friends or something. You were friends with Phana we used to talk when our gangs meet. Nothing more than that" I said.
" Really Beam then why did you help me that day? . Was it nothing too?"
" Phana is not talking to you too. So why are you questioning me only. Ask phana too. Why bother me?".
" Because I don't care if he doesn't talk to me".
" Why Forth ?. he was your friend first. Just leave me alone forth". I said while breaking his hands which trapped me. I got up and started walking to the direction of the camp.
Forth POV
When Beam left I sat there thinking what Beam just said. He was right Phana was my friend first the only thing he talks to me is about the camp nothing besides that. Me and Phana are clsoser than beam and me. Even though Phana talk to me professionally to me now I don't care. But it bothers me a lot when Beam avoids me.
Phana is talking to me only as a professional. Is that the reason Beam is not talking to me. Is he banning beam to talk to me?. I want to know about it. How dare he?. I don't have any rivalry with Phana so why is he behaving distant from me. I am not going to return to college without getting answer to that. I got up determined to find the answers.
Phana POV
I was stacking things at the camp. Beam came back from garden he was out of breath like he was running from a beast. I gave him water. And told him to go back to the home we were staying. He left with kit. Suddenly Forth came barging in. with a dark aura.
" Phana we need to talk".
