Chapter 34

Forth's POV

While I was smoking I saw Beam outside the building. He was talking to someone on phone. I wanted to approach him, but then I saw someone who dressed all in black following him. His movements were suspicious. Beam approached some guy who just arrived in a car. He received a gift box from that guy and said good bye to him. I can see the suspicious guy hiding when Beam turned around. Beam couldn't see me too, because I was in the dark side of the area.

I was almost near him, suddenly I saw the guy in black taking out a gun out of his pocket. I ran to Beam while throwing my phone to the guy's hand which pointing a gun at Beam.

The gun fell down to a sewer near him, which was not closed.

He came to me angrily since I was the one who made him lost the gun. He raised his arms to punch me but I dodged it and kicked him down to the ground.

He came to punch me again, but this time I wasn't fast enough. His movements were unpredictable. He managed to punch me in the guts. I fell on my knees.

Damn he is strong. But I got up fast.

Beam also came to help. We both tried to fight him. But this guy was experienced. When Beam got kicked on the knees while fighting he kneeled down on the floor.

I diverted my focus to Beam. But the attacker to the advantage of it and used the trash bin near to hit my head.

It blurred my vision a second, but I saw him taking a knife out of his pocket. I ran to Beam and covered him. I felt a sharp pain at the side of my back. I can feel my knees getting weak. I could hear a gun shot after that.

" Beam, I love you " I managed to say it. My head started to feel dizzy. I closed my eyes.

Beam's POV

I fell down because he kicked me on my leg so hard. I was getting up slowly. Suddenly I saw him taking a knife out aiming at me. Before I can do anything Forth covered me. I felt Forth losing his balance. He looked at me and said " Beam, I love you" .

He then closed his eyes.

He was losing blood.

We took him to hospital.

Why Forth? why did you do it ?

Phana's POV

Kit and I were shopping. Suddenly I got a call from my father telling me that Beam is in our hospital. We both rushed to the hospital. We saw him sitting in front of the operation room. He sat there frozen. We can also see Forth's parents and Beam's dad. I went near Beam, as soon as he saw me; he stood up and hugged me. He cried out loud.

"Forth, Forth...got hurt. Pha he saved me, but he...he "

He was crying too much I couldn't understand most of his words. Suddenly he lost balance. He fainted I took him to the examination room. From his dad we found out what happened at the party.

Kit's POV

Beam has been sleeping for an hour. Ming and Wayo are also with us in the room. Wayo has been throwing up a lot. Ming said he does that when he is anxious. They were both crying. Kit brought some food for them to eat, but they refused to eat.

Ming's POV

It is almost midnight. Doctors have given Wayo sedation because he had difficulty in calming down. I excused them for a moment. I went outside the hospital went to a secluded area. I cried out loud. I was holding it till now. I don't want to be seemed weak in front of Wayo. I need to be strong for him. But it was too much.
