Forth POV
I am waiting for Beam to open the door for me. Yes you heard it right. I am outside his house. I rang the bell but nobody is coming. I am really nervous. Suddenly the door was open. It was not Beam who opened the door for me. It was his cousin.
"Are you here to fight again?" He asked
"NO. NO". I denied
"Then why are you here?" he said smirking
"To apologize for what happened yesterday"
"Come in" he said while opening the door wide
"Continue" He said
"What?" I asked confusedly
"Your apology"
"oh, I am really sorry that I hit you. I didn't know you were his cousin"
"So if I wasn't his cousin you wont be sorry?" he asked
"No. I thought you were his secret lover?"
"Secret lover?"
"Yes. Beam stopped playing because some strong reason. My family said he must have someone he likes or he has a secret lover that is why he stopped playing. So I thought you were his secret lover"
"So you hit me because you thought I was his secret lover?"
"Yes"
"Why would you hit his lover?"
"huh" I am dumb founded
"I am asking why you would hit his lover. What right do you have to hit his lover. Who are you to Beam? Why would you care if Beam dates someone?" he questioned me
"I don't know?"
"you don't know?. Then why did you hit me thinking I was his 'secret lover'?"
"I was angry ok. I didn't like the fact he was with you so close. You even kissed him. I didn't like that you kissed him. that is why I punched you."
"When did I kiss him?"
"you kissed him on his temple at the parking lot. And you fed him ice cream at the shop. He can feed himself" I said furiously
"Were you jealous?"
"Jealous?". Was I jealous ?. I don't know I am confused
"no I wasn't jealous. I was just worried that you would take his advantage of him" I said
"Why would you be worried about Beam. he is a grown man. And you already know his Casanova lifestyle too. So why would you care?. Or do you have feelings for him"
"No. I don't have feelings for him. he is my best friend" I denied
"Really?. What major do you take?"
"Engineering"
"Does when university starts admitting dense people to engineering" he murmured
"Phi why is the door open?". We heard Beam saying. He came in with some groceries in his hands. he seemed to be surprised me being here.
"Forth. what are you doing here?"
"He came to apologize" his cousin said
"And you are letting him get away with this"
"Yes"
BEAM POV
I was surprised to see forth here. What surprised me more that how Phi is acting. Phi acting like what happened yesterday was nothing. He even asked Forth to have dinner with us.
