Chapter 15

Forth POV

I was shocked by the things in front of me. There was fire department on my dorm room. There is no fire but I can see my room is destroyed. When I went there was Park and Lam is talking things with the fire department employees. I went near them and asked.

"What the hell happened?"

"Your microwave exploded. We have contained the fire. But it is not safe for you to stay here. So I think you should sleep somewhere else for the time being". The fireman said and left.

"Park what happened?"

"it was an accident Forth. I was trying to heat up the congee. But suddenly I got a call from Ming and I went outside to collect something's from downstairs I completely forget about the congee. When I come here room was on fire. And Lam was trying to keep the fire down but it was too late. So others called fire department "Park said guiltily looking down.

"I was taking a bath during the time fire happened. I smelled smoke. When I reached the area the fire was too big for me to control".

"What were you thinking Park I know damn well you don't know shit about microwaves. You can't even boil water. So what were you thinking?"

"The congee I brought was getting cold and Lam was taking long bath so I decided to heat it. I even googled it. How it works. But"

"Googled it my ass you owe me big this time. Where am I going to stay Park? i can't stay at your place. I don't have enough money to stay at hotel. It is embarrassing to ask money from my parents. My parents are rich. But it doesn't mean I can ask them for money any time I want. I already spent too much of their money for other things. They will ask for me to work for their company if I ask for more". I said frustrated.

"I will find you a place. Just wait I need to make a call". With that Lam turned to make the call.

Park went with him. He knows if he stays with me I will kick his ass.

I went inside my dorm room and collected the things which are not damaged. Thank god my gadgets aren't ruined. My books are fine too. But my clothes are not much left. I had too many clothes to do the laundry they are all destroyed. The clothes was inside the cabin is safe. It was very little.

While gathering things Lam and Park came.

"Collect your things Forth I found a place"

"Where ?"

"Just take your things and come with me. I am already sick. Don't give me anymore headaches". Lam said irritatingly.

"Well I am not the one who caused the Problems aren't I?"

"Forth, don't start". Lam said while glaring at me.

Like usual he protected Lam. Me and Lam are friends before college. But after Park came I became like a third wheel. He never let me scold Park.

We got into Park's car and went to the direction which Lam told Park.

We are going to an area which I am not familiar with. This place doesn't have any hotels or something like that. There are some apartments but no hotels. Then we reached a house. It is small but not too small. There was someone waiting outside for us. He looks young.

"Get your things Forth". Lam ordered me.

Lam went to the person and hugged the person. I was kind of stunned seeing this. But I was not the only one who is shocked by this. Park's mouth is opened too. Then it changed to a frown. The Lam we know never hugs anybody. Even if I was I in the hospital bed he wouldn't hug me. He hates human contact.

"How are you baby?"

"Baby?". Park said out loud.

"Phi, Stop calling me that. I am not a baby anymore. See I am a grown up man". Lam said while laughing.

"It doesn't matter how old you are still my baby"

"Guys this is P'mew. He is my cousin from my father's side. He was in states. Now he is back for good. Phi this is Forth and Park". Lam said introducing us.

I and Park both greeted P'mew.

"Lam told me about your situation. You can stay here as long as you like. I live alone here"

"Forth, collect your things and put it inside. Park come with me. Let's go inside Phi". Lam said and left me alone to take care of my things. Today is a shitty day.
