"Did you get the popcorn?" Rosie asked and Elijah had a bowl in his hands.
They sat on the couch while Elijah massaged Rosie's shoulders. It was Elijah's turn to pick the movie and he choose Mulan.
It was one of Rosie's favorite movies and she guessed that's why he picked it.
"Pick a movie you want to watch Elijah," Rosie said and Elijah kissed cheek trailing down to her neck.
She closed her eyes as Elijah knew exactly where to massage.
"Anything...you like, I like" he whispered in her ear. She turned around and crashed her lips onto his. Rosie got on top of Elijah and she felt his hands on her ass.
Elijah trailed his finger around Rosie's waist and was about to pull her top off until the doorbell rang. They groaned and got off each other.
Before answering the door, Elijah gripped Rosie's neck gently and he kissed her once more. He opened the door and Ava stood there smiling at him.
"Ava, what are you doing here so late at night?" Elijah asked and Ava burst through the door pushing him out of the way.
The moment she spotted Rosie on the couch, her smile disappeared. She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at Rosie, she knew that she interrupted something.
Rosie looked down and pulled her shirt all the way down.
"I need a place to stay"Ava answered. Elijah sighed and took a key out of the draw by the door. Rosie wondered just how many places he owned.
"I want to stay here at your house," Ava said giving Elijah the key back. Rosie scratched the back of her head feeling nauseous.
She put a hand to her mouth and she could feel her body trying to make her vomit.
"You can't take the place or sleep on the street" Elijah handed Ava the keys and turned his attention to Rosie.
Unable to stop herself from vomiting, she ran upstairs to the bathroom. There, she let all of it out and Elijah came rushing into the bathroom.
He held her hair and rubbed her back. Rosie knew she wasn't pregnant as she's infertile so it must have been food poisoning but she didn't know from where.
"Rose? I'll call a doctor" Elijah said and Rosie pulled his hand. She didn't need the doctor, it wasn't serious.
"I don't need a doctor Elijah, I'm fine," Rosie said getting up from the floor. She walked over to the sink and brushed her teeth.
Elijah walked over and wrapped his arms around her stomach.
"I forgot to tell you that I'm on my period so I might be a little moody" Rosie told Elijah and he chuckled. He noticed the change in moods in the past couple of days.
He buried his head in her shoulder.
"Elijah" Rosie started.
"Hm?"
"I'm hungry"
Elijah chuckled and carried her downstairs. He loved to carry her everywhere.
He put her on the kitchen counter and there wasn't much stuff to take out.
He doesn't do grocery shopping so it was surprising to Rosie.
He gave a nervous laugh and carried her to the couch so her feet didn't touch the floor.
"I have to make a quick grocery run ill be back soon okay?" Elijah kissed Rosie and rushed out the door before she could say goodbye.
She continued watching Mulan and an hour later, Elijah showed up with back in hand. One was filled with snacks and the other was filled with tampons and pads.
He also had pepperoni pizza in hand.
"Why are there so many boxes of tampons and pads," Rosie asked as Elijah brought the food to her. He also got her a heating pad.
"I didn't know which one you use so I bought all of them" Elijah replied sitting next to Rosie.
He encircled his arms around her and they ate together while watching Mulan.
"Thank you for the stuff," Rosie said after finishing the pepperoni pizza.
She gave Elijah a kiss on the cheek and smiled at her.
They cuddled and went to sleep. Ava showed up at Elijah's office wanting to talk to Rosie. Rosie reluctantly went with Ava to a quiet place.
Rosie wondered if Ava was going to tell her to back off.
"I wanted to talk to you about Elijah" Ava started and Rosie knew this was coming.
"What about him?
"You may not know but he rejected me," Ava said. Rosie raised her eyebrows as she wasn't expecting that at all.
"I'm sorry to hear that" Rosie replied. What had she expected? for Elijah to run into her arms? Rosie her hardest to roll her eyes.
"I also wanted to tell you that I'm still pursuing him, I just don't think its right to sneak around behind your back" Ava stated and Rosie scoffed.
She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Not even Talia would be this low.
"This bitch is crazy," her subconscious said.
"Tell me about it," Rosie told her subconscious. She couldn't believe the audacity of Ava.
"What?" Ava asked and Rosie nodded her head. She decided to go to the girls to vent.
She really needed to get it all off her chest so she told them everything Ava has been doing the past few weeks since she's been back. They were just as shocked as Rosie.
"What did you say?" Anne asked and Rosie shrugged.
"I didn't say anything" Rosie was too stunned to say anything. It's like the words vanished from her mouth at the moment.
Something like that has never happened to Rosie.
"Stand your ground Rosie," Serena said.
"That's your man" Serena added. She knew that without a doubt but Elijah was mature enough to deal with it.
She wondered if she should even tell him unless he knows already.
"She's right" Kara voiced her opinion. Rosie forgot that Cora's girlfriend joined them for dinner.
She was nice but scary which is funny because Cora is soft and not scary. Polar opposites attract Rosie thought.
"Do you think that Elijah might be swayed by Ava?" Rosie doubted herself and Serena dropped her shot onto the table.
Rosie assumed that she would be yelled at in a few seconds.
"Don't doubt yourself, Rosie, that man loves you" Serena stated and Rosie knew that was true but she found it hard to believe Elijah didn't have some sort of feelings left for Ava.
In high school, he spent most of his time around Ava trying to prove to Rosie that he liked someone else.
