lxii • our epic finale

(shinsou with this mask ✊😫✊. honestly, i'm a lazy bitch, so we're just gonna skip the rest of the battle arc. just wanna say, i am sorta become a mineta fan, so i'm gonna let (name) have somewhat of a friendship with him, ty)

"..and that brings these five matches to a close! You showed us some fanatic battles, providing how well you knew your enemies and yourselves!" Midnight announces into a microphone, replacing Vlad's biased commentary, "Class A took the first march, while Class B took the second. The third match was a draw.. and Class A won the fourth and fifth matches! So the grand victory in battle training.. goes to Class A!"

Class B students sulk, while Class A students cheer. Suddenly, Shinso(u) walks up to Vlad and Shota, "I couldn't accomplish anything on my own. I'm still lacking, and this was my test for a possible transfer, right?" He asks.

"He knew?!" Vald looked at Shota.

"It was just a guess, but given the timing and format.. this was just a convenient way to test me that didn't cost anything. Plus, you let me fight twice."

"We still have to go over the postgame analysis." Shota said, not answering Shinso(u)'s question. "Let's get back to the others."

The final teams all lined up, it was going to be explained by the people on the feild. It started off with Midoriya, Shota asked the question everyone was needing to know.

"Um.. first off. Midoriya. Want to tell us what happened?" Murmurs were coming from the students.

"I still.. don't really know. The power welled up, and I couldn't control it. It's like something I've believed up to now all of a sudden turned on me. It was truly terrifying." Midoriya looks down at his hands. "But when (Name), Uraraka, and Shinso(u) tried to stop me.. that helped me realize it wasn't all bad. If Shinso(u) hadn't used his brainwashing to knock me unconscious.. I honestly don't know what would've happened.

When it comes to explaining things, Izu has to say every little detail it seems like. But, I like that about him. :)

"You asked me if I was bluffing Shinso(u). I wasn't. "Midoriya turned his head to Shinso(u). "I had no clue what was going on. So, all three of you, thanks!"

"That's true! Facing down Midoriya's little rampage.. you theee demonstrated some quick thinking and fast responses!" Midnight suddenly bursts with excitement, "And the way Uraraka, in particular, put herself on the line to help her friends.. was incredible! I loved it!"

"You just jumped in without thinking, Uraraka! Quick as a whip!" Ashido leans over, with a teasing face on, her yellow eyes on Uraraka. "And then you wrapped your arms around those two, tight!"

"It's true that I acted before thinking. In the future, I should try to keep a cool head.." Uraraka starts becoming red, "But.. if the alternative is doing nothing and regretting it.. then I'd be more than happier jumping in."

(off topic, but: uraraka is my wife for many reasons, one being she has one of the best character developments in the show:))

"You've matured, Uraraka.." Shota says, making Uraraka become even more red.

"I wasn't just doing it for Midoriya's sake." Shinso(u) suddenly said, Midoriya and (Name) look over at him. "Uraraka and Aizawa gave me that order, and I acted. Plus.. I saw the other three getting wrecked by the black energy and realized that our team would probably lose unless we put a stop to it. I did what I did.. because I wanted to fight Midoriya and beat him. It only worked out that way by chance. But, in the moment, I was focused on myself, and what I wanted."

Suddenly, Shota came up and wrapped his bandage-scarf around Shinso(u)'s neck, tightly. "That's corporal punishment! Alert the P.T.A.!" A few students yelled out.

"Nobody was asking for any more than that from you. Everyone here has already spent months training to become heroes who save people. Embodying that ideal right after being thrown into the deep end is not possible. That would take the talent on par with All Might." Aizawa looks at Shinso(u). "Acting for the sake of others! Saving people actually takes a lot more than that! You'll never protect anyone until you need for yourself. If you think about it that way, your actions.. earned more than just a passing grade!"

"Shinso(u) at the emd there.. you tried luring me into the big brawl, where you could've really shined, right? And remember when you tried tripping me up with those falling pipes?" Midoriya looks at Shinso(u) with a smile, "That was so fast! The way you whipped out the binding cloth while on the move really reminded me of Mr. Aizawa. In the first match too. I was thinking how the team came together to make a great use of your abilities! But that's not all it was! Your judgment, instant analysis and quick moves are just as impressive as anyone in the Hero Course! You blew me away!"

(another off topic, but: shinsou also has one of the best character developments, ily <3)

"If we're talking about using your strength for others.. then I'm the one who's got a long way to go on that front." Midoriya clinches his fist.

"Indeed." Aizawa agrees.

"We've still got some deliberating to do, but probably.. no, more than likely.. Shinso(u) will be joining the Hero Course as of his second year at U.A.!" Vlad says.

"Yay!" (Name) cheers, jumping up and down as they make their way to Shinso(u), "You're getting closer!"

"Heheh.. this may have been a dark day for Class B, yes. But, we only lost the battle, not the war! Now that I knwo Midoriya's Quirk gives me a blank," Monoma's drug eyes come back," I will formulate a counter-strategy.. meaning.. if we were to go another five rounds, who knows how it's turn around!"

"Not a chance." Vald interrupts Monoma's plan, "Classes are over for the day."

"Oh, right. While I still have you." Aizawa looks at the insane blonde dude, "Monoma, you're to see Eri tomorrow."

"Lucky duck." (Name) murmurs, Monama looks over at the individual, "What?"

"Nothing. Just something caught my eye."

"Okay-"
