xvi • cocky kid who thinks everyone who gets more attention than him is cocky

(Name) saw the state of Kaminari, still as high as Fillmore's organic gas. They decided to walk over and help the high kiddo up, just in time a roller comes on the field to take Kaminari to the infirmary.

"Thank you, (Name). We got it from here." Midnight says, "Why don't you go and get rested up for the next round?"

"Sure." (Name) said, still looking Kaminari being rolled away, that was their cue to leave the arena. When they went back into the student section, (Name) decided to just walk around for a while before going to their classmates. Turning a corner, they come face-to-face with Monoma, the jealous kid from Class B, (Name) stopped before knocking into the boy, he gave (Name) a smirk.

"Oh? One 1-A's best students?" The boy said with snarky tone.

"Do I know you..?" (Name) asks, their arms crossed, returning the boy's attitude, "Oh, you're from Class 1-B.. what are you gonna say to me? That I'm a cocky bastard?"

"..actually, no.." The 1-B student still smirked, one that was still snarky, "I bumped into you, usually when stuff like this happens the two people have to introduce themselves.."

"Oh, alright.."

"Ahem, my name is Neito Monoma, my quirk is Copy, the quirk basically means anybody who comes I into contact with, I can copy their quirk."

"That sounds kinda cool, how long can you use their quirk?"

"About five minutes, if I train more, I can expand the time limit, I saw you fighting out there, you have a pretty cool quirk.."

"Oh? Thanks, I think it's a little over powered, but if it helps people feel more safe, then I don't mind!"

Monoma gave a smile, with some snark to it, "I didn't get your name, darling.." He said with his fingers on his chin, (Name) mouthed an 'oh.'

"Name's (Name) Aizawa, my quirk is called Yin-Yang, it basically gives me the ability to spawn anything that represents light and dark."

"Interesting quirk.." Monoma said quietly, (Name) gives him a soft chuckle, a 'thank you' comes from the individual's lips, "I got a question for you."

"I'm all ears."

"Before your next round, is it fine if I introduce you to some of my classmates?"

"Oh? I thought I was a cocky bastard?" (Name) said jokingly, the blonde rolled his eyes, "I'm kidding, sure, I'll be glad too."

"..alrighty then, follow me."

The two of them made their way down the halls, (Name) silently hopes that none of their classmates will see them because of the conflict going on between the two classes, the conflict began because of one person, Bakugo(u). (Name) and Monoma continued to make their way down the corridors, so far, the two haven't been seen by any class 1-A students, so they continued. "Kendo!" Monoma all of a sudden called out, his voice reached the ears of an orange haired girl, she turned around.

"Monoma, there you are!" The orange haired girl said, when she saw (Name), she didn't change her soft smile, making (Name) feel better about her fears from moments before, "Oh! You must be from Class 1-A, you're Mr. Aizawa's kiddo, right?"

"Yeah, well, adopted actually, it's been quite an adventure with him," (Name) chuckled, they gave Kendo a smile, which Kendo returned, Monoma a third wheel at this point, "I'm (Name), by the way, I'm guessing Kendo is your last name..?"

"Sure is, my first name is Itsuka!"

"Well then, Itsuka Kendo, it's wonderful getting to meet you." (Name) bowed, their new friend bowed as well, Monoma looking at them in concern.

Monoma's blue eyes caught something in the corner of them, catching the two girls attention, "Monoma, are you okay?" Kendo says with confusion in her tone, her cyan eyes move towards where Monoma was looking at.

"Tetsu?" Monoma saw his sliver haired classmate watching them from afar, Tetsu knew that he was spotted and decided to make his way towards the trio.

"..hi," He said nervously, rubbing the back of his neck, "I just saw you with.. a 1-A student, I thought.."

(Name) put a hand on their hip, "..what's that supposed to mean?" The tone from the individual wasn't mean, it was just pure curiosity.

"I just think my competitiveness got the best of me and most of us first year students were just jealous that your class got to face actual villians." The silver haired boy said, "I'm sorry for being mean to you without even know you."

"It's okay. I just was confused."

Not knowing what else to say, Tetsu looks at his two other classmates."..don't look at us," Kendo says to Tetsu, her tone was gentle, "You can introduce yourself to her."

"..right," Tetsu clears his throat, before opening his mouth, "my name is Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu."

Tetsu lookeed away embarrassed, (Name) only fan girls at his name, "That's a fabulous name, I'm not even lying."

"..oh, thank you.." Tetsutetsu says, surprised at the individual's reactions, the other two Class B students just softly chuckle at his reaction.

"THERE YOU ARE, DAMN DUMBASS!" A loud voice echoes down the corridor.

"Ow."

"Tell your new extra friends bye because I want you to watch and learn to see how I can beat anyone!" Bakugo(u) says, (Name) rolls their eyes, asks who the chihuahua would be going against. "I'm going against that round face."

"Then, I hope she wins."

"WHA—"

(Name) quickly turns around, facing their new friends, "It was nice meeting you guys, hope to see you guys soon!" The individual then walked away, Bakugo(u) not letting them get away with saying that Uraraka would beat him.
