Anchor

Liam always wondered how it felt like to be in control. Like Scott, Derek, Peter and other werewolves had. Unlike him.

Since Hayden left, his IED got the best of him. He couldn't control it. Well, Until something happened. It just happened. The one boy he thought he hated actually became more like a friend..? Maybe his ancho- NO.

Right now Liam was with Scott. Walking towards the preserve.

"Huh?" Liam finally got back to reality when he heard Scott saying something about the Hunters? What was it about?

"Hayden, um I just wanna know if you're okay after.. you know, she left." Scott spoke. Liam signed.

"Uh..I'm okay, I'm actually okay." Liam mumbled. But he still couldn't stop thinking about what happened with all the Hunters and how 'he' calmed Liam down everytime he lost control. Even though he punched him sometimes, it still calmed Liam down.

"Yeah, I'm sure you are!" Scott smiled at him.

"Scott? C-can I ask you something?" Liam spoke softly. Scott looked at his puppy eyes and he couldn't help but smile and nod.

"Go ahead"

"How do you know if someone's your anchor?" Liam frowned.

Scott signed and stopped walking. He looked around and found a bench then he sat there and Liam sat beside him looking at him curiously.

"My anchor was Allison." Scott started. Liam knew how Scott was always soft about his first love.

"Whenever I lost control, I would find her voice, listen to it and calm down. In one lacrosse game, we were losing but when I got her scent, I calmed down." Scott smiled. Liam frowned. It was impossible right?

"But you were in love with her right?"

"Yeah" Scott sadly smiled.

This didn't make any sense until it did. Theo was his anchor.

"It's a full moon tonight you know that right?" Theo said looking up from his biology book. Liam did nothing but glare.

"Well it's not affecting that much as before" Liam said after some time. Theo frowned.

"Yeah but Stiles still gave me the chains and Scott told me to-"

"To what? Lock me up in my room? oh! Chain me up against a tree?" Liam shouted. Yup the full moon was already affecting.

"But if you lose control-" Theo sat.

"I won't lose control." Liam looked away standing up from the bed where he and Theo were studying. Together. Yeah.

"How do you know that? Look, I hate to do this too but I have to. I can't just let you kill people because-" it's like Theo stopped himself from saying something he wasn't supposed.

"Because?"

"Nothing. I Just don't want to be kicked out of this house too."

"So just listen, we're going to that damn tree to chain you up-"

"I DONT NEED YOU ALL TO FUCKING CHAIN ME UP AGAINST A TREE"

"YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE CONTROL" Theo's voice matched with Liam's.

"I TOLD YOU I WONT LOSE CONTROL BECAUSE I HAVE YOU-" Liam stopped. He wasn't supposed to say that. Theo would definitely laugh at him for this now.

Theo widened his eyes. Heart beating so fast that he put his hand on his own chest where his heart was and looked at it.

"Liam-" he started.

"Oh god- no no no please ignore that I-" Liam rushed. He was looking down at his hands to hide his tears of embarrasment.. Theo walked closer to Liam. Liam still didn't look at Theo and tears escaped from his eyes.

"Hey, look at me" Theo said softly. Liam finally looked at Theo who was looking at Liam's teary blue eyes.

Theo frowned and touched Liam's chin softly lifting it up a bit so they were looking at each other. Theo's heart ached every time he saw Liam upset. But he didn't know how to comfort someone but he could try..

"It's okay" Theo whispered as he warped his strong arms around Liam. Liam melted into his touched at buried his face into Theo's chest.

"It's okay" Theo repeated.

"You have me" Theo whispered after some moment when Liam stopped sobbing.

Liam tilted his head up so that he was looking at Theo's eyes, as if Searching for something.

"I would never chain you up to a tree. I would never even chain you up in your room. I promise." Theo said softly touching Liam's lower lip. Liam's breath got caught in his throat.

The full moon started to rise.. Liam felt the power. His eyes started to turn yellow. His claws started to come out. Theo still didn't let Liam go. He grabbed the beta's face and kissed his forehead.

Then Theo looked at the beta who still didn't lose control. Liam struggled but he knows that he has Theo now. He can do it. He closed his eyes trying to use the wolf power against his anger. And he did it. The wolf inside him calmed down. Theo's scent. Theo's arms around him. Theo. Theo helped him do it. He opened his eyes but his human eyes. His osean blue eyes.

Theo smiled. "You did it, little beta!" Theo embraced the younger boy in front of him.

"Thanks" Liam mumbled.

"So will you help me control it?" Liam asked after some time of taking Theo's scent.

"Always" Theo smirked.

"Ugh- I hate when you do that smug face" Liam pouted.

"So... Would you like it, if I did this?" Theo pulled Liam's face closer to him brushing his lips on Liam's. Liam's eyes widened but he managed to close them and kiss back.

When the kiss ended Theo looked at Liam who was completely aback by the kiss and was looking at Theo's lips.

"Yeah, yeah always" Liam said when Theo smirked at him and Started leading him upstairs to his room.

-9:00 am-

Scott and Stiles were having breakfast together in Scott's house.

Both of them received messages from Theo and Liam.

Stiles read the message was from Theo-

'thanks for the chains. They're really helpful.👍'

Scott received a text from Liam-

"I did it!"

"Uhh I think they're meant to text eachother-" Stiles said showing Scott the text.

"No dude I think they did something.. good. Like really... Really good" Scott said smiling like a puppy.

"Oh shut up Scotty" Stiles laughed.

Not the best one but I tried. I love Scott and Stiles' friendship so much <3333
