Work ended and me and Malcom headed home but Rufus went to hang out at Mateo's house for a bit.

He claims that they haven't done anything but I call bullshit; But it doesn't matter either way.

I walked up to my room and took off my work clothes which smelled like coffee and pumpkin and grabbed some blue jeans and a red T-shirt which I'm pretty sure is Rufus but I know he won't miss it.

"Hey, want to play videogames?" Malcom asked popping his head out my door

"Maybe later, I have a date" I told him and grabbed some cleaner shoes

"Date? With who?" Malcom asked confused

"That one girl, Who came in for an Iced coffee with extra sugar and cream" I answered and combed my hair

"How did you get her number? You talked for like 5 minutes" He asked me in pure amazement

"What can I say I have a slick tongue in more ways than one" I winked and he made a disgusted face

"Your gross" Malcom said and walked away

"And your jealous" I said down the hall as I walked downstairs and opened the door and saw Peck ugly mug at the door

"God dammit what do you want?" I asked him exhausted

"Where's Aimee? We need to talk" Peck asked with his hands in his pocket wearing a black hoodie looks like a gothic asshole

"She's not here" I simply told him

"Bullshit I want to see her now" Peck told me

"First of all you don't demand shit from me, second I'm not one of your stupid friends I will kick your ass, and second she really isn't here" I told her

"Where is she? Did she tell you where she is?" Peck asked me

"No" I shrugged

"Did she tell you not to tell me?" Peck asked

"Actually she told me if I saw you to beat you up so badly the police wouldn't be able to identify you but I decided to be nice now fuck off"

I told him and shut the door behind me and got into my uber and drove to my date while I watch Peck look down at his shoes like someone took his puppy away

"Hey Deirdre, does this guy look hot?" I asked my coworker who was folding a shirt while holding a picture of Rufus and his new boyfriend

After that kiss disaster with Rufus we really haven't talked much; He texted me two days ago to ask if I was still alive; I laughed a bit but after I replied with yes we haven't said anything else.

Peck has been blowing up my phone since then too. I blocked him; Not because he was annoying; Even though he was; I wanted to save my notification for when Rufus messaged me.

When my instagram notification turned on

"Yeah he's pretty cute, In a kinda nerdy way" Deirdre shrugged

"Why?" Deirdre asked

"He's my ex boyfriend new boyfriend" I answered and closed my phone

"Oh well in that case, He's ugly and your way hotter" Deirdre jokes

"Thanks" I smiled at her effort

"Peck likes guys?" Dahlia asked walking in

"No but Rufus does" I sighed

"So you dumped him" Dahlia said

"Thanks for reminding me, I guess i miss him" I sighed and folded some pants

"Aren't you guys friends? Just call him" Deirdre suggested

"I don't think he wants to talk to me right now" I sighed and folded some more pants

"Why?" Dahlia asked while organizing the nail polish

"She kissed him after she caught Peck with another girl" Deirdre explained to her

"Oh shit" Dahlia smirked

"Hey, I'm not paying you girls to gossip; go help some customers" Our boss Dalma told us and walked back into her office

"Ugh" Deirdre rolled her eyes

"You think that's bad, Try living with her" Dahlia rolled her eyes and we separated to work

Deirdre was picking up clothes some asshole dropped on the floor of the dressing room while Dahlia was talking to some girl and showing her sundresses.

I worked the cash register and put on a fake smile waiting for someone to walk in; I grabbed my phone and saw he posted another picture of his new boyfriend drinking water from a starbuck cup.

I closed my phone and tried to focus on my work
