“So how was your date?” I asked Tagoe; We just finished the coffee rush where college kids who spent all night studying and needed something to keep them up

“Pretty good, Not really my type tho; but don’t say anything to her she still at our house; I’m hoping Jenni will make her breakfast before sending her on her way” Tagoe said while washing his hands

“Your a whore” Malcom said

“And Your jealous” He said back

“Hey guys” Mateo smiled and walked in

I got away from behind the counter and walked to him and kissed his lips and we sat down at one of the tables.

“Hey babe how was your Final?” I asked him

“It was okay, it really wasn’t hard” Mateo said

“So how was work?” Mateo asked

“Shit but you know pretty normal” He shrugged

We both laughed and Mateo opened his book bag and saw a small note fall out.

I picked it up and saw it was a small crumpled piece of notebook paper and with green ink; It said do you like me? and had two boxes for yes or no.

“What’s this?” I asked and gave it back to him

“Oh just a note someone gave me when I was in highschool” Mateo answered and slipped it into his clear folder

“Who?” I asked

“I don’t know, They never wrote their name and I didn’t see who slipped it in my locker” Mateo said and zipped his bookbag up

“Aw they must of been shy” Malcom chimed in while eating the whip cream out of the tin

“Kinda seem pointless to write it, send it, just to pussy out in the end” Tagoe said while squirting carmel in his mouth

“I always thought Lidia wrote it but she denies it to this day” Mateo shrugged

“Their no name?” I asked

“Nope, I also never gave them an answer” Mateo shrugged

"Why do you still have it?" I asked

"I don't know, It's cute and it's the first note someone ever gave me" Mateo answer with a smile

Mateo's phone chimed and he realized he had to go to his next class, He walked out and I went back behind the counter and opened my phone and saw Aimee viewed my story of when I posted Me and Mateo together.

“Oh” I sighed and put my phone down

“What?” Malcom asked seeing me putting my phone down

“Aimee viewed my story of me and Mateo” I told him

“Oh did she say anything?” Tagoe asked

“No” I answered

“Oh” Malcom said and we just went back working
