“Okay baby want waffles or pancakes?” I asked Penny while she was jumping on the couch watching Cocomelon

“Cakes! Cakes!” She screamed while hitting the couch jumping up and down

“Okay pumpkin” I smiled and grabbed some frozen pancakes and placed them in the toaster

While I waited I just received an instagram notification; I opened it and saw Mateo as on my recommendations which was a shock since Mateo isn’t a social media person.

I followed him back since his account was public. He probably didn’t know how to make it private since I had to teach him how to block someone.

I saw the post he liked and gasp loudly when I saw him and that guy from the movie theater being cute together.

“Aw, I knew he liked him” I gushed and jumped up and down holding my phone close

“Ma Ma?” Penny asked poking her head from the couch

“Nothing princess” I called out to her and placed my phone down and grabbed her pancakes and added some syrup,whip cream, and chopped strawberries

I gave her a plate and a fork and sat down next to her and called Mateo while she ate; I knew he was in the class where his teacher just gave him a worksheet and told him to fill it out.

So I knew he would pick up if he knew what was good for him.

I was finishing my test when my phone vibrated, I looked to see it was Lidia. I answered the call since everyone else was on their phone anyways.

“Hey, what's up?” I asked her while finishing my test

“Me? What about you? I know you and Rufus are fooling around” Lidia teased

My face became hot and I dropped my pencil on the floor out of embarrassment.

A kid next to me picked it up for me, I smiled and thanked him; He just nodded and went back to work.

“What?” I asked her still embarrassed despite no one knowing what happened

“I saw you guys on his instagram” She told me

“Since when do you have instagram” I asked her confused

“Don’t change the subject, Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked clearly excited

“We just made it official today” I told her than finished my test; I walked downstairs and gave her my test and walked out of the classroom

“That's amazing, You two look so cute together” She gushed

I just smiled and let her talk. Lidia seemed more excited for me to start dating than me; I always thought I would meet the one in college like in my favorite books.

Which I guess did kinda happen; I never cased anyone which wasn’t so bad since on one ever liked me before

“Look Lidia we can talk later, I’m gonna stop by to see Rufus” I told her

“Okay go see your man Stud” She teased and hung up and I walked to the Starbucks to see Rufus again
