Although it was less than 15 minutes, Jorgia felt as if they were there forever. The sun shined as the salt breeze was once again the dominant fragrance. It was midday and despite it being "winter", the temperature was no lower than 65 degrees.

"The world, the tower, and the fool huh..." said Lucas as the group began to walk down the pier.

"Well, I can probably guess what the tower is," he said, pointing towards a small island in the distance. Despite its size, a large clocktower sat close to its coast.

"What's that?" asked Jorgia, who was also starring in the same direction.

"That's Vetter Tower, and it's a really old clock tower that was built over 100 years ago. And that island is called 'Century Island'. They originally built it near the center of the city but after they got overwhelming complaints that the chime was too disruptive, they moved it to that island," answered Lucas.

"Ugh that tower, I think it's a damn eyesore. There's this perfectly nice beachside view then they decided to place that monstrosity on that island," mumbled Vanessa.

"I think it's kinda nice, it has a history with it. They could've g-gotten rid of it completely, but instead they moved it," said Elijah.

"It's usually open for tours but only Monday to Thursday, so today won't work. We'd have to take a ferry to the island. But since we're here, we might as well have some fun, right? It's still early and this is Elijah's and Jorgia's first time at Galad pier.".

"He's right, I wanna explore a bit. I haven't seen anyone suspicious around here, so I think we're good for now. Vanessa, how about you show Elijah around? I think he'd really appreciate your help" asked Jorgia, flashing a wink at Elijah as he began to blush.

"Pshhh whatever...." answered Vanessa as she turned, swaying her hair, grabbing Elijah's wrist, dragging him away. He smiled at Jorgia as she pulled him along, causing him to stumble briefly.

"Later, Jorgia. We'll call if we're in trouble but I'm sure we'll be fine" shouted Vanessa as the two walked further away.

"Hehe, he's so awkward. Alright, Lucas, what's first? I wanna get the full Galad pier experience."

"Ooooooo, you're going to love it, Jo! This pier has everything! Well, most things. Actually, just beach-related stuff, but they have a few fun carnival games down the pier. But we've never actually had a carnival here before," answered Lucas in excitement as the two began to walk.

"It's crazy dude, all of these normal, average everyday people have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. I'm surprised the city looks the way it does. With gang activity, cities usually look much worse," said Jorgia.

"How do you think Celine knows so much about the gang?" asked Lucas.

"I've been wondering ever since we left. She gave us all this information about them. Do you think she was one of them once?"

Jorgia looked down as she walked, her head deep in thought. Lucas was right; how did she know so much without being affiliated?

"Well, whatever her relationship is, I think she's on our side. Once we find one of these relics and destroy it, there'll be no doubt she's someone we can trust. Vanessa said she's visited her a bunch of times without any danger. And she didn't have a stand or a sense of hostility, so... I think she's alright."

"Hmm, yeah, you're right. She wouldn't have warned us about other users if she wanted to see us disposed of."

The two passed by store after store before eventually arriving at the carnival games that Lucas had mentioned. A select few of the games were under large striped tents, while others were out in the open. The smell of cotton candy and popcorn was ever-present in the air as little kids ran by, smiling and yelling in excitement.
