It was late afternoon. Clouds stretched across the sky as a faint orange hue began to envelop the city. A black and grey convertible with its top-down drove through the streets with its two passengers. A man sat in the driver's seat and a woman in the passenger. The once crowded streets were slowly emptying as citizens of Vetter City began returning to their homes. The man was focusing intensely on driving, his eyes locked on the road as the woman stared at the sky and said:

"This has to be my favorite time of the day. The sky is so beautiful, even with the skyscrapers in the way. Don't you think so too, Bianco?"

"Yes, milady. The sky is very nice right now, and we should be approaching the store soon. I apologize for the delay; rush-hour traffic can be such a nuisance," answered Bianco, the driver.

"Oh, it's no worry. We don't get many days off, so this drive is quite nice. We have a lot of places on the agenda to visit, but I'm sure you know that already."

The car soon pulled into a reserved parking space in the front of the store. A long line of people stretched from outside the entrance, some of them turning their heads to look at the convertible. The man exited the car, walked over to the passenger's side, and opened her door.

"Oh my, this is quite the line," said the woman as she peered down the sidewalk.

"Bianco, do you want anything? This stuff is really good, you know!" she shouted to her driver, who remained at the car.

"No, thank you, milady, it would be quicker if you alone order."

"You're always so focused and straight-laced. But if you're sure, then I'll just order."

She stopped walking when she approached the man at the front of the line. He was a larger man with receding hair, a briefcase and a navy-blue suit who was rapidly tapping his foot, indicating his frustration with the wait.

"Excuse me," she said to the man. He turned around and saw her standing there, the other people in the line also curious as to what she was doing.

"Uhh, can I help you? If you're planning on cutting the line, then find someone else; I've waited long enough...."

"Yes, you can help me. Go up to the cashier, ask for a cup of vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and bring it to me," ordered the woman, as a red, heart-shaped tattoo formed around his left eye. The man dropped his briefcase, slowly walked up to the cashier, and ordered the ice cream. His movements were almost robotic and sluggish as he walked back to her. She snatched the cup from his right hand before saying:

"You should be nicer to people, you know. That selfish attitude of yours will get you nowhere in life. In the next 30 seconds, take out your wallet and all of its contents and throw them at the other people on line."

In his dream-like state, he stood there, motionless, waiting for the seconds to pass. The woman turned and walked back to her car, ice cream in hand, licking and enjoying its sweet flavor.

"One of these days... I must find out how they make this ice cream... it really is divine! Alright Bianco, let us go to the next destination. I'm very excited about this one!" she proclaimed as she sat in the car. The engine started, and the car started to slowly pull out of its parking space. Dollar bills and credit cards flew in the air as the man began handing out the wallet's contents to the people on the line. Only seconds after the effect had worn off, he quickly realized what he had done and was frantically trying to take his belongings back. A slight smile emerged from Bianco's lips as the car drove off, catching the woman's attention.

"Hahaha, you can't hide that smile from me! Admit it. That was pretty funny, huh? He tossed all of his cash out and lost his place in line," laughed the woman as she consumed her ice cream, nearly finishing it.
