On this particular day, the waves at Galad beach were exceptionally calm. They were typically known for their rough nature in addition to the powerful undertow they boasted. But today, they were different. Six rows of seven dainty, white chairs were split by a pathway of a white sheet over a stable platform. At the front of the chairs was a large archway that had been lined with flowers. Large potted palm trees speckled the surrounding area, their leaves swaying in the mild breeze. On each tree was a portrait of a person. Underneath the archway was a wooden lectern that had numerous red tassels hanging from it. From behind the chairs came a small crowd of people. The women wore elegant dresses while the men were dressed in sharp suits. One by one they sat down in their seats, admiring the design of the setting. They were attending a wedding. They each reached down underneath their seats and picked up a small pamphlet. On the front was a picture of a man and a woman, happily smiling. After some time, a priest arrived. He greeted the invitees and assumed his spot at the lectern. Not long after him, the groom arrived, followed by his best men. And soon after, the bride. Her dress was a sight to behold, indicating that it was obviously custom-made. As the priest started the ceremony, the click of a camera could be faintly heard. The photographer, also formally dressed, shifted from angle to angle, side to side in order to capture the moment in its entirety. After the vows were made, a bride and groom embraced each other in a passionate kiss and cheering erupted from the audience. Flowers flew in the air and the aura of the setting was nothing but happiness. As the day progressed, meals were eaten, speeches were made, and friendships were formed. As the sun began to set, the attendees began to clear out, leaving the newlyweds, their photographer, and the caterers.

"We can't thank you enough for these pictures, Caitlin. These are really spectacular!" exclaimed the bride.

"Yes, you did a fantastic job. I know what prices we agreed upon, but we'll make sure to add a little extra for all that you've done," said the groom.

"It was my pleasure. This was definitely my favorite wedding I've shot so far. You two really did an excellent job planning it," answered Caitlin.

"Here's my card. If you ever have any other events you want me at, please call. I'd be more than happy to capture it for you!"

As she walked down the beach back to her car, she shuffled through the pictures on her camera.

"They looked so happy today. Ha, maybe I'll find someone like that so ma can get off my back about starting a family."

She climbed the stairs that led to the pier and walked to the nearby parking lot. She opened the car door and sat inside. As she reached to start the engine, she got a text.

"I haven't even left yet. This woman sometimes...."

On her phone was a text from her mother.

"How was the wedding? Did you happen to meet any cute guys after?"

"Haha, very funny, I'm leaving now, and it was nice. I'll see you and everyone later this week," texted Caitlin. She put her phone away, started the car, and left the pier.

"It's getting late. I hope there isn't any traffic. I can't wait to shower and get to bed."

With a simple tap on the car's screen, she turned on the radio. While surfing through stations, one had caught her attention.

"Due to an accident on Horizon Street, there will be a large buildup of traffic. Weather and sports in five," announced the radio host.

"That's just great. Sometimes I wonder why I don't just move to a house in Eastern Vetter instead of an apartment downtown, and I'd even be closer to my mom too."
