It was a sunny, cloudless day. The quiet suburbia that Jorgia resided in had begun its regular routine. The mailman was delivering letters and packages, kids were playing in backyards, people were walking their pets and the subtle and occasional bird chips tied together the calm and fresh atmosphere. It was a new day in Vetter, but for Jorgia, the pain of the past had maintained its presence.

"Ughhh," moaned Jorgia as she sluggishly rose out of bed. The closed curtains had left her room dark and still, despite the sunshine outside. As she rose, she winced in pain and her hand immediately grabbed her stomach. Some bandages wrapped her midsection and wrist and instantly reminded her of her prior situation. She rubbed her eyes and tried to move again before another sharp pain coursed through her abdomen.

"Oh yeah, the fight... How long was I asleep for?"

"Elijah! Vanessa and Lucas! I wonder if they are still here?"

Once more, she tried to exit her bed. She managed to walk a few feet before a familiar face entered her sight.

"Jorgia! You're awake!" said Elijah as he rushed over to her from the hallway. He supported her weight with his shoulder and began to bring her back to her bed.

"Hey, dude... where are the others? Also, how long have I been asleep?" she asked as she sat on the edge of the bed.

"You shouldn't be out of bed yet, Jorgia. Lucas and Vanessa went home after... well after Cyreen left. We all brought you upstairs and they explained to me that they should get going to make sure their families were safe. You were asleep for about a day and a half. They visited yesterday and told me to use your phone to c-call them once you woke up. I used Glitter to heal your wrist and other injuries. Also... when I took off your jacket, I saw you have this... star-shaped mark on the back of your left shoulder. I tried to heal the d-damage to your stomach after she punched you, but it was harder... than I expected. Your bruises should be gone, but I wasn't able to instantly heal all of the internal damage."

Tears began to form in his eyes as he reached forward and hugged Jorgia in a warm embrace.

"Jorgia... I'm... so sorry about Cyreen. You only got hurt because of me, and she nearly killed you! I don't... I don't know what to think anymore. Maybe I should just go back to-"

"Hey. You are not going back to her. As long as my friends are safe, I don't care what happens to me. That woman, sorry, that cocky bitch, is vile, and she needs to be taken down a peg. She's been terrorizing this city long enough. And think about it dude, she left you here. I must've done something that spooked her. I won't deny it; her stand is incredibly powerful. Not only its ability but its physical strength as well. But we know about the relics and where they might be located. There's no doubt she'll send users after us... but that's a price I'm willing to pay if it means she'll be weak enough to defeat her. You guys are my friends. I'm not gonna let you, Celine, or everyone else down."

"Jorgia..."

"And look. I still have Neon Guts with me," she said as she briefly brought out her stand.

"All I need is another couple of hours of rest, and we can get started with tracking down the relics."

Elijah got up and stared at Jorgia. The two locked eyes before she began laughing, him following suit.

"Trust me, Elijah. I am okay. I really appreciate you looking after me," she said, leaning back into her bed.

"Yeah... you're right. It's just... you guys are the only friends I've ever had. When we first got to your house, I saw a pharmacy a couple of blocks away. I'm gonna go there and pick up some medical stuff for you," he said as he began to leave the room.
