We get to go behind the wings of the stage to practise.
"So what are we going to do?" I ask.
"No. Freaking. Clue." Ian replies. Well, we are off to a good start. Our thoughts are inturrupted by Mr Coates, handing us a script each.
"Memorise a bit of the and perform it if you have no ideas." He says. I glance down at the script. This is going to be fun. I throw the script in the air.
"Urgh! I hate paper!" I exclaim. Ian looks out of the wing curtains.
"Why is everyone praticing?" He says.
"Maybe because they have ideas?" I reply. Why do we have to do drama? Why? Then an idea appears in my head.
"I have an idea!" I exclaim.
"That idea is?..." Ian replies.
"Well, what we do is tell sir we get stage fright, and can't perform!"
"That won't work."
"Why?"
"Because you are good at acting! He's seen you." Why am I good at acting... Urgh! I slap my hand on my face.
I peer out of the curtains. Hehe... Anthony is paired up with Tasmin.. Poor boy. I walk out from behind the curtains and walk over to Mr Coates.
"Sir, we have no ideas, and the script is a load of bull. Could we possibly not go first?" I ask.
"Okay. Thats fine."He replies. Yes.
I run back over to the stage.
"Hey! We don't have to do the play thing!" I exclaim to Ian.
"Really?" He replies.
I nod my head in exitement.
Mr Coates calls us all around the stage, and I watch as Tasmin and Anthony get ready to perform, instead of us.
In my head, I was away thinking of what England would look like. Only four more days until I leave. I snap out of my mini daydream to find that everyone is looking at me.
"What?" I say.
"Lia, Tasmin. Could you please step outside for a minute." Mr Coates says.
"Was that meant to be some sort of staring competition?" I walk out of the room. What did I do? I didn't say anything. Maybe it was Tasmin...
Anthony's POV.
I walk up to the stage with Tasmin. I hate her for making us go first. I walk behind the curtains, and see that Tasmin isn't with me. She is out on the stage. What is she doing?
"Before we start, I want to make an announcement to everyone... Lia fancies Ian." She announces. I peer out of the edge of the curtains. Lia is in her own world, as usual, and Ian is hiding his face from embarressment. I know he likes Lia, and I haven't told anyone. Well, if I did, I would be burned alive with pigeons tweeting songs by Britney Spears. Just imagine that for a second. That would be a cruel way to die. And painful.
I hear Mr Coates say something and Tasmin leave the stage. I walk out from the curtains.
"That wasn't meant to happen. She just thought it would be funny to pull a joke.." I apolgize. That was fun. I go and stand at the back, next to Ian.
"That totally wasn't embarressing for you." I joke.
"At least she didn't say I fancied Lia." He whispers.
"I bet you, Lia likes you."
"As as friend, yeah. Thats kind of obvious."
"No. Not just as a friend."
"Yeah. Course she does." Ian replies sarcastically. "She hangs around with Tasmin and that lot. They'll make her go out with one of them retarded jock people."
"I'll ask her tonight." I say as Lia appears.
"What happened? I wasn't really listening to what Tasmin said." Lia says.
"She said you liked... Horses." Ian lies.
"Horses? Great lie, Ian. Anthony. What'd she say?"
"She said.. That her cat... Mated with a.. Goldfish." Anthony lies.
"If you don't tell me right now, I will burn you whilst getting pigeons to tweet to Britney Spears. Yes, I've heard that before." Lia threatens.
Just in time, the bell goes for fourth lesson.
"You haven't said anything to Lia, have you?" Ian asked.
"No. I swear on my mom's life. I don't want to be burned anytime soon." I reply.
We walk of to English with Mrs Lotter. Luckily, Lia isn't with us. She told me she had some extra math lessons, so I am all on my own in this lesson. I hate english. I mean, when are we going to need to know about William Shakespeare? He is just some british dude who wrote plays and drank tea, like everyone else does in Britain. Why am I talking about Britain?
English finishes off and I go and meet Ian for lunch. Along the way, I bump into Lia.
"Why are you doing this again?!" She says, annoyed.
"What? I just bumped into you." I reply. She holds out a note. 'Look at the school notice board. 4/5' It says. I walk over to the school notice board. In massive letters, it says something that happened during drama. This time, the opposite way. 'Ian fancies Lia' I look at Lia, who is confused.
"In drama, Tasmin said that you fancied Ian. This made the whole class stare at you and get off the lesson." I say to Lia. She might as well know. Now I just need to find Ian.

Bringing back the notes.. If anyone remembers them. Its funny because my drama/creative arts teacher is called Mr Coates.
