Summer Paradise

A few days later ^=^

Anthony's POV

Me and Ian are planning a surprise for Lia. Hopefully, mom will let us do it. If all goes to plan, we will give her a last day worth remembering.

We are planning to go to the beach, and to the amusement park. The only downside to the whole trip is that if we want to go, we'll have to find 30 bucks to pay for our tickets. We (I mean I) worked out that if we pay $15 each, which covers the cost of the rides and stuff, and then get Lia to pay us $10 back, it'll work out.

We also have a budget of $60, and we've spent $30 of it on the amusement park. If there is time, we might either go to see a movie or go to the arcade.

A Few Weeks Later.

Everything is ready. As long as Lia hurries up, we will get to the beach in time.

"Hurry up, Lia!" I yell.

"You can't rush me if you wake me up early." She yells back.

After what seemed liked forever, she is ready.

Lia's POV

I sigh. Tomorrow, I won't be here anymore. I'll be on my way to university.

Anthony and Ian have prepared a surprise for me today. I have a feeling it won't be good. It might be okay, but you can never trust them two with surprises.

After eating a quick breakfast, (which consisted of an apple and half of a biscuit) I get into Anthony's car, and blindfolded. Either they are taking me to a serial killers apartment, or they want me to be completly surprised.

It doesn't take that long to get there. It probably seemed short for me as I fell asleep. Hey, they woke me up at 8, of course I'm tired!

They take off the blindfold, and I see blue sky and the beach. No way... But.. what?

"Surprise!" Anthony cheers!

"Today, we are going on everything at the amusement park, followed by eating food and ice cream, and then... I can't remember what else we were going to do." Ian says.

"We got distracted by that butterfly outside, remember?" Anthony reminds.

"Oh yeah!" Ian says. God, I'm going to miss these two dorks.

"Let's go! If we want to go on everything, then we better hurry up!" I say and run off to the enterence. Believe it or not, I've never been to an amusement park in my life. I suppose I've was stuck in a crappy adoption center for 10 years.

Ian and Anthony catch up to me and pay for the tickets. I'm actually pretty nervous. What if I die on a ride? Okay, that's a bit extreme.

We start with the merry-go-round, which was so cool! I named my horse Unicorn, and had a very nice conversation with it. I'm not crazy, I swear.

After that, Anthony suggested the water ride. It looked pretty cool, and like you would hardly get wet. Of course, Ian and Anthony have been here before, and told me to sit in the front.

"You don't get splashed as much" they said. I am soaked. I am so going to get them back.

We went on a few more gentle rides, then one caught my eye.

"Guys... Let's go on that!" I say, pointing to a really mad ride. Anthony shakes his head.

"Nope.. not going on that." He says. I grab his arm and drag him over to it.

Anthony chickened out, and walk away from the ride, but Ian went on it with me. For the rest of the day, we called Anthony 'chicken'. Right now, we are waiting for food.

"Lia, can I ask you something?" Anthony asks.

"Sure. Go ahead" I reply.

"When you leave, you'll promise to keep in touch, right?" He says.

"Yeah. If I get time." I reply. The food comes and we eat and talk about nonsense.

We leave the restaurant. By leave, I mean kicked out. Funny story, actually. Anthony brought up the convosation of Pokèmon, and Ian and Anthony started talking about which Pokèmon was a better starter: Squirtle or Bulbasaur, and I started to sing the Pokèmon theme song. The three old women sitting next to us got annoyed, and that's how we got kicked out!

We decide to go on the beach for a while, until it gets dark. Unfortunately, we didn't bring any spare clothes so we couldn't go in the sea. I went in there anyway.

You know when you look down when your feet are in the sea, and it looks like you are moving, when its actually the sand moving around you? I fell over because of that. I thought I was actually moving, and got worried I was going to get sucked under with the current, and I fell down.

It starts to get darker, and the tide is slowly coming in. We sit on the edge of the pier, dangling our legs off the edge.

"Thanks." I say, breaking the silence.

"For what?" Ian asks.

"This. Everything." I reply.

"Your welcome, I guess."

"You guys have changed my life, you know that? Personally, when I first met you, I thought you were both complete dickheads, but, you aren't." I confess.

"Really? I thought you hated me." Anthony says.

"I did. But now I don't." I say.

Why did I have to apply to university? I wish I didn't.

Meh... This was more of a filler... OH MY GOD YOU GUYS! IF YOU DON'T ALREADY KNOW, ANTHONY AND KALEL ARE ENGAGED! HE PROPOSED TO HER IN THE ZOO IN TOKYO! OMFG.

Sorry.. ehem..

Anyway, important question.

Q: would you like to have one chapter where Lia is at uni? If yes, what should happen?

Also, after Adopted is finished, I will finish Forever Waiting, and I am asking for your opinions! What fancfics do you want to see in the future? I want to write an All Time Low fanfic or a Dan/Phil fanfic. What do you think??

I still can't get over the fact that Kalel and Anthony are engaged. I may have cried with happiness when he proposed to her.
