Chapter 9

ALEX's POV:

That entire week I stayed over at Olivia's house. It was nice and she appreciated it. Every day Nathan would visit for some hours to make sure Olivia -her best friend and nothing more than a sister- quoted by Olivia herself was okay.

I liked the friendship they had, it was unique and special.

The problem was that he didn't even look at me when he came. It was like he was angry at me for something my brother had done. But I tried to ignore his attitude and focus on Olivia.

"Hi Alex." Olivia's sister, Jenny. Greets me as I walk down the stairs

"Hey Jenny."

"Are you leaving?"

"Yeah... uhm my dad needs me back home."

"I'm going to miss you." She runs over to me and hugs me tight. God she 's so cute.

"Me too. Bye."

Spending the entire week on Olivia's house had me interacting with her family. Who are pretty awesome. Especially Jenny.

I enjoyed being able to participate in their diamics. I love my dad and Seb but we work differently. Something I missed was my mom. Not literally her, but more like the idea of having a mom. She left us when we were like eight or ten years old. She came to visit some times, but now she's happily married and has kids of her own.

Some Christmas she sends presents, but I haven't seen her in about a year.

I'm opening the front door and I bump into someone's chest. As soon as I open my eyes I see Nathan Scott. What are the odds?

Neither moves nor says anything. Right now we are chest to chest, breathing to breathing, eyes to eyes... yeah you get the idea. Today he doesn't look that angry like other days. He isn't even trying to ignore me -which he did for the entire week.

"Little Harris." He whispers.

Now he's back to my 'nickname'. He still doesn't move or anything. What is it about him that draws me so hard? Each time he's next to me I feel so good. Even if we don't talk I enjoy his presence and proximity.

"Gonna talk?"

I was so clouded by the view that words wouldn't come out. I just denied moving my head and he laughed. Are we back to whatever we had before that scandal with my brother?

"Look Harris I need to leave something so if you are gonna stay quiet let me in."

Still not knowing how to respond, I moved so he could enter Olivia's house. Stupid me.

I'm still in shock and mad at myself for drooling like an idiot. Some minutes pass and I calm myself down. With all the rush and Nathan, I forgot to ask my dad for a ride. So I start to dial his number when Nathan passes through me and says. "You are coming with me."

With no hesitation I agreed to him taking me -where ever he was going. He has this sort of power over me and he knows it.
