I have been here a week

I have been here a week. I have developed a tiny relationship with Coulson, and I enjoy making fun of Clint. Today was interesting. Apart from the constant stares from people. I might enjoy this. I was the last one in my dorm room, to come in. There were many conversations going on inside, but the minute I opened the door, the room was quiet. Something was up, and it no doubt had something to do with me. I decided to ignore it and take a shower. To be honest I needed one. While I was in the shower, I looked back on my day.

I had the training session or whatever after breakfast, which is fun every time. I had a history of SHIELD, which was a little less fun. Then I had a protocols session. Which was boring. I walked out of the bathroom and headed for my bed. I threw my hair into a messy bun and sat on my bed, wondering what the girls were talking about earlier. I saw Lillian walk over to me, with almost the whole room, behind her following.

"You lied to us," she says, crossing her arms. I was so confused.

"What exactly did I lie about?" I said, a confused from forming on my face. "I have been completely truthful the time I have been here."

"You're the Black Widow," she says, anger in her tone.

"And?" I sat flatly.

"You betrayed our trust." another girl says, standing next to Lillian.

"How does me being the Black Widow have anything to do with trust," I say. I was so confused at this point, but I also knew that this would happen at one point.

"I am sorry Natasha, but you aren't welcome in our circle anymore. You kill people and that is all you'll be known for. You will never be a SHIELD Agent. You may as well leave now." the other girl says, sounding like she owns the place.

I was not only hurt but annoyed that my past is what they judge my character on. I stand up and push Lillian to the wall. She tries to get out of my grasp but fails.

"How dare you think that my past actions have anything to do with the kind of person I am today. I did what I had to do to survive. While you were playing with your dolls, I was being tortured." I say. I let her go and walk back to my bed. No doubt this will be known to everyone else.

The thing is, Clint will also cop things about me as well. Maybe coming here was a mistake. I get into my bed and shut my eyes tight. I try and think of happy things like the delicious salads, me kicking other agents' butts - especially that cocky one. I fall asleep, for once my head filled with happy calming thoughts.

Next Day

I wake up not in a cold sweat. I didn't have a nightmare. I was loving this morning. I woke up while everyone was still sleeping, and I had no nightmare. When I came out of the shower and went back to my room. Everyone was gone. It didn't bother me. But everything started to go pear shape when I walked into the Cafeteria. Everyone was staring at me or glaring at me. It started to make me feel uncomfortable. I sat down in my usual spot and ate my oatmeal, still feeling the glares and cold stares on me. Suddenly, the feeling was gone. Then I heard a voice. An all too familiar voice.

"How about instead of staring at one person, we can enjoy our breakfast and not make others uncomfortable." it was Clint. I had a feeling everyone knew I was the Black Widow.

"Barton, you're still the youngest here, so you can't go calling all the shots. If we want to stare at a mass murderer, we can." I hear someone yell.

"One she ain't a mass murderer and two I am not technically the youngest anymore. Just turn your eyes back to whatever you're doing and not on Natasha."

Clint sits down in his usual spot next to me and elbows me softly. "Hey, you ok? I heard that um...everyone knows, and I can tell you one thing that I didn't say a thing."

I smile at him. He gives out a sigh and starts shoving food into his mouth. "Thanks for sticking up for me just then. I appreciate it. I am also sorry that you will no doubt get harassed because of who I really am because you're my SO. I understand if you don't want to anymore." I tell him, playing with my food.

"Hey, I don't want to stop being your SO. I love watching you kick other agents' butts. Especially if their SO's are people who hate me, or I hate them. Their reaction is funny. I love spending time with you. " he tells me, looking at me with truth in his eyes. "Besides, I am always getting as you put harass."

"Do you think all I am is a killer? All I am good at is killing." I ask.

"If you really were, I would have been dead a long time ago. You are much more than that. You are smart and intelligent. You wanna know something. I thought that killing you would be a piece of cake. Then when I read your file, my brain still told me it would be easy, but my gut said otherwise. Then when I saw you it became so much harder because..." he started but couldn't finish his sentence because a blonde-haired girl came up to us.

Clint rolls his eyes and turns to the blonde-haired girl.

"Can I help you Bobbie?" he said, irritation rising in his tone.

"Well, I am going on a mission," she says, starting to run her hand through his hair, which caused him to shiver a little. "And I was hoping that you could give me some background knowledge about where I am going?"

"Where are you going?" he was trying to move her hand from his hair.

"Iowa."

"Ok, so what you need to know is that if you find any device that has internet access and type in Iowa, you will get a truckload of info. K?" he says.

A small smile wipes across Natasha's face as she turns to look at the table to hide her expression.

"Unbelievable," Bobbie mumbles as she walks off.

"Girlfriend?" Natasha asks, finishing up her food.

"What!? NO! That girl is so annoying! I will be surprised if a guy decides to date her." Clint says, returning his attention to his now empty plate.

Natasha smiles and pushed her half-eaten food to Clint. "I'm not really hungry anyway."

Clint smiles and takes the food gratefully. Suddenly someone throws a paper cup at Natasha from the girl's table, then another was thrown at Clint from the boy's table.

"If you don't react, they will get bored. Trust me. I used to always react when certain things were revealed and well, I got into trouble and they kept doing it. Now I just fly a smart comment every now and then, but they are finding me boring." Clint tell Nat, knowing she was troubled by what was going on.

He pulls her into a side hug and finishes the rest of the food. As much as I want to punch some people right now. I don't want to ruin my no fighting with people in a year record. Because I know Coulson was gonna kill me.
