It was nice to see Clint back to his old self. But I knew from experience that it would take time for him to flush everything out. Suddenly, Rodgers come into the room with his suit on.
"Time to go." he says.
"Where?" I ask.
"Tell you on the way. Do you know how to fly one of those jets?" he then asks.
"I do." I hear Clint say, opening the bathroom.
Rodgers give me a look and I nod my head. "You gotta a suit?"
"Yeah." Clint says.
"Good then suit up."
Clint and I run to where our suits were and got ready. We talk but was interrupted by Rodgers. We head down to the hanger area where the jets were. We head onto one that was open but there was an agent I have never seen before.
"Y-You guys aren't authorized to be in here." he studiers.
"Son just don't."
We convince the boy to leave the jet, but then just runs to another agent. Honestly, we couldn't care less. Stark was meeting us down in New York. We are gonna take this guy down.
"Stark we are on your 3 heading northeast." I say throw the com.
"What. Did you stop for drive through?" he says. Clint smirks and I roll my eyes. "Swing up park, I'm gonna lay them out for you."
We fly through the city, heading up park avenue. I hit the button to activate the gun on the jet. I hit the button and start shooting the alien looking things. Clint then steers the jet by where Loki and Thor were fighting on top of Stark Tower.
"Nat." Clint says, looking over at the tower.
"See him." I say. I press the button and start shooting at Loki.
He then turns around and blasts one of the jet's engines, causing us to go down. Once we finally landed, we all get out. Cap, Clint and me. We run around to find a safe spot to stop and we look up. We see a vortex looking thing in the sky, with aliens and a massive lizard eel think coming out. We must do something and now.
"We got this. It's good...go." I tell Rodgers as we try and fight off these things.
"You think you can hold them off." he asks us.
"Captain, it would be my genuine pleasure." Clint says, getting up from his spot and shooting an alien in the face. I get out my guns and start shooting these things as Steve runs off to get people out of nearby buildings.
I cover Clint as he tries and gets people that were trapped in a nearby bus. He then comes back and joins the fight. These things were coming literally out of nowhere.
"Just like Budapest all over again." I tell him, pointing my guns and shooting.
"You and I remember Budapest very differently." he tells me.
