I woke up with my fist in Coulson's hand

I woke up with my fist in Coulson's hand. "Ok two things Coulson. One never try and wake me up by touching me because you'll end up with a broken nose. Two, have you ever heard of knocking before entering someone else's room?" I say, sitting up in my bed.

"I get it. Clint ain't a morning person too. He is a pain to get out of bed. You aren't you just punch people when you are being woken up." I laughed

I get up out of bed and stretch. I love stretching. I love bending my back and hearing all my stiff muscles crack when they bend in the morning. I walk over to the cupboard and take out a blue shirt and some jeans. I was just about to shut the door when I noticed a leather jacket hanging in the back corner. It was Clint's. he had let me borrow it on a mission when I didn't have a jacket and it was raining. When I went to give it back to him, he said to keep it.

I closed the door of my cupboard and went into the bathroom to change. I come out and put my sleeping clothes in a drawer.

"I thought you might have been hungry, so I went to the cafeteria and brought you some breakfast." he signaled to my desk, where a bowl of oatmeal, a fruit cup, and water sat.

"Thanks, Coulson. You're so sweet." I grab the bowl, mix the money, cinnamon and sugar through it and start to eat.

"So, are you just gonna sit here until everything gets sorted out?"

"I spose. You wanna know something funny. 6 months ago. I wouldn't have cared who was staring at firing insults and comments about me. Wouldn't have bothered me if they feared me. Now, I feel the opposite. It bothers me that they fear me and only seem to see me at a monster and a killer."

"Hey, we are gonna figure this out. Just before lunch. Furry is questioning Clint. We really want this over and done with so we can get you back into the field. But we also want to make sure that you and Barton are on good terms."

"Why?"

"Well, he isn't exactly a piece of cake to work with. And no offense but neither of you. You both came from positions where you worked alone for a long period of time before coming here. Unlike the other agents here, where they had the academy to work on teamwork as well as being independent."

"Oh, that makes sense. So last night you heard my terrifying past. I want to know how a communication agent like yourself ended up being an ops agent SO?"

"Same as how Barton ended up with you. As you know, I was sent to kill Barton, but I had different plans. I saw his skills and thought he would be a good asset to the team. Also, because Barton was only seventeen, he needed someone to tutor him so he could get his GED. If not, he wouldn't be where he is now. He was VERY difficult."

"Don't think that has changed Coulson, to be honest."

We both laugh. Coulson takes me down to the gym before heading back to his office. I had a good 4-hour workout and train.
