Natasha was in surgery and I was in the waiting room, just waiting for her to come out. I was so worried. The doctor finally came into the waiting and jumped up like a shot and walked over to her.

"Is she ok?" I ask, worry and concern in my tone.

"She will be just fine Agent Barton. She just needs a bit of rest and to take it easy for a month or two. You can go see her now if you like. She is awake." he says to me.

I thanked the doctor and walked to her room. I knocked on the door and opened it.

"Hey, how are you?" I ask, grabbing a chair and pulling it towards her bed.

"Sore. but I'll be fine," she says, sitting up a little.

"The doctor says you need to take it easy for a month or two. But I think I have somewhere where we can do just that." I say, taking her hand.

"What do you mean? As Furry give you leave as well," she asks, confusion crossing her face.

"He says, that he doesn't trust that you will take it easy, so we have the same amount of leave. I have a place out in the country that we can stay at." I tell her, wiping her hair out of her face.

She nods. After three days, Natasha was released from the hospital wing of the base. We both back up a few things and head to the car park. We both get in and we head to my house.

"Are there yet?" I complain. We have been driving for like forever.

"We'll be there soon," he tells me. He has those stupid sunglasses on his face.

"You said that almost an hour ago," I say, whining.

"Get your feet off the dash, Nat."

I put my feet down and smile. We drive through a gate then up a very long dirt driveway. Once we pass a massive tree, a large white house with a big porch. A woman was standing out on the porch. He stops the car and gets out. I get out two. Suddenly, two kids burst out from the door of the house, when we were getting out our bags and walking towards the house.

"Uncle Clint!" the two kids scream. The girl must be his sister. She drops his bag and picks the two small kids up.

"Hey, guys. Miss me?" he says, kissing both. "Who's that?" the little girl asks, pointing to me.
