I got bored and yeah, idk.・。.・゜✭𝙱𝚊𝚍'𝚜 𝙿𝙾𝚅✫・゜・。.
It's almost the end of my first week back. It's been stressful due to all the tests that literally determine my entire grade, but it has also been really nice. Thankfully no one has mentioned that night, and I have no intentions of ever bringing it up. They all just seem happy to see me again.
Me and Finn are on good terms again. Well, we never really were on any "bad terms" just in my mind. I was definitely overthinking that entire situation, making a big deal out of it when it was really nothing. To be fair this whole "soulmate" thing is really stressful and scary. Like for all I know my soulmate could be across the world. I know I'm the "chosen one" and I'm considered lucky, but I'm really not. Yes, I get unlimited amount of words without having to do anything. But I also have no idea when or if I find my soulmate. I'd rather be wordless and have my soulmate then have unlimited words and be lonely. I just want someone- I want my someone.
Good thing it's Friday, and I'm on my last period of the day. I'm absolutely exhausted and just wanting to go home. "I fucking hate History!" Red groans as he harshly leans against his locker after shutting it roughly, making a loud bang. "Language, and same." I agree. "You think that was hard? Chemistry is insane! How am I supposed to know which substances can't mix?!" Finn complains. "No, you guys just don't know how to study." George crosses his arms.
He has always been a really good student. Getting straight A's without managing to look like a total "nerd". "Nerd." Clay teases, covering it up with a cough. George seemed to understand him though, immediately roughly punching him in the shoulder. I look over to my left to see Zak smiling in amusement. "How do you think you did?" I ask him, referring to the tests. He just shrugged his shoulders, looking at me with a look that said "I tried".
I smile at his response the second I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.I raise my eyebrow in confusion as I see it was a text from Ant that read: "what's the weather supposed to be like tomorrow?" Not knowing why he was asking I unconsciously open my weather app. I feel like it has become a habit for everyone. The second someone asks "how hot or cold is it outside?" or "is it supposed to rain today?" your first instinct is to go look on your phone.
Me: Humid but cloudy apparently, why?
It only took him seconds to respond, but those simple seconds felt like an eternity. I mean, he does normally ask weird or off topic questions, but why this?
Ant: Oh, ok! Just wanted to know what I should wear tomorrow
Me: Oh, alright understandable
I always do this thing where I type out a response before fully thinking about it. So when I put my phone back in my pocket, that's when I realized.
Me: WAIT
Me: REALLY?A huge smile spreads across my face as I see the three dots pop up. He can't be serious-
Ant: YES REALLY
Ant: I'll see you twelve thirty tomorrow :DI squeal in excitement, cutting off the conversation that was between everyone. "Tomorrow! He's coming tomorrow!" I exclaim with a huge smile. "The friend you were telling us about?" Red asks confused. "Yes!" I confirm. I look around at everyone frantically, still not have calmed down. Zak was looking at me with an amused look, which made me realize I was being a little to loud. Looking behind me to see students stopped in their path to see what all the noise was about. My cheeks redden in embarrassment as I turn back towards the group.
"When tomorrow?" George asks, making me calm down a bit to remember what Ant had told me. "Noon." I inform them, the big smile not leaving my face for a second. I was just to excited!
"Bad..." I hear a faint voice call out. I groan in exhaustion as I roll over, flipping the blankets completely over my head. "Bad!" The voice repeats. "We have to leave in half a hour!" I immediately jolt awake, remembering Ant is arriving today. I look over at the digital clock on my bedside table to see it's 11:25. I normally don't sleep in this much, I'm an early riser. I guess I was just so tired from all that excitement.
I sit up, looking over at my dad who was the voice I was hearing. "Can everyone else come? Please?" I plead, already knowing he's going to say yes. "Ok, make sure everyone can though." He says before walking out of my room. "And get ready!" He yells through the door. "Okay, okay!" I laugh, opening my phone to text everyone.
"Im leaving now!" I yell out to my parents, opening the door. "Are you sure you don't need us to come with you?" My dad asks, walking out of the living room. "Yes, we'll be fine." I reassure him with a smile before walking out of the door.
I walk out to see Zak's car parked right in front of my house. I smile as I open the passenger side door. "Hey!" I greet him excitedly. He just looks over at me with a smiled before starting up the ignition. I kind of wish he could speak sometimes. Well, I wish he could speak all the time, but it makes me wonder what these kinds of situations would be like. Is he a talkative person? Or is he quiet? It makes me wish I had known him before he lost his words. Or whatever happened to him. I still don't know exactly-
Before I knew it he had pulled up to Red's house, immediately honking his horn which made me jump. He held it down, making an unbearably loud noise until he got to the car. "Dude, how are you mute but still find ways to be as loud as possible!" Red complains as he hops into the back seat.
At least a minute later Finn comes walking out of the house right across the street. "I heard a horn and had a feeling it was you." He rolls his eyes as he gets in. "Did it wake you up?" Zak signs. He did look like he just got out of bed. "Did it wake you up?" I translate, trying to suppress a giggle. "No, definitely not." He says sarcastically, making Zak smile. I have noticed he has pleasure in annoying people.
We were talking in the group chat and Clay said he would drive him and George and just meet us there, so we made our way to the airport. I was shaking with excitement the entire way there. "Are you good, Bad? You look like you're having a seizure." Red observes with a laugh. "Just excited." I say looking back at him with a smile that hasn't left my face for even a second.
I was literally jumping off the walls as we made our way through the parking lot of the airport. We finally made it to the front entrance after me almost getting hit by multiple cars, but at least we made it! We walked in to crowds and crowds of people. Immediately all of my excitement drained out of me and was replaced with a familiar feeling of anxiety. I froze as I saw all the strangers bang into each other, trying to get to their flights or loved ones.
"Ok, I think his flight was number four?" I inform trying to recall what Ant had said to me the other day. "Alright, should we wait for Clay and George?" Red asks, looking back at the packed parking lot through the front entrance window. "I can stay here and wait for them then meet you guys at terminal four?" Finn suggests. "I think that could work." I nod with a shrug, looking over at Zak for confirmation in which he nods back.
And with that being all settled we made our way to terminal four. His flight should be getting in any minute now, so we had to hurry. "Come on!" I yell as I look back at the two who were a couple meters behind me. "You walk to fast!" Red yells towards me. Zak throwing his arms in the air in defeat. I couldn't stop, we were to close. I could literally see terminal four's sign! "It's literally right there!" I yell to them, pointing towards the big sign that read 'Terminal Four'.
I start to slow down as I get closer, looking around frantically for Ant. That's when I realized I lost Zak and Red in the sea of people. My anxiety came back, and fast. Taking over my mind. Suddenly I forgot where I even was, only being able to focus on the people around me.
