IM BACK IM BACK IM BACK
I MISSED YOU ALL!.・。.・゜✭𝚉𝚊𝚔'𝚜 𝙿𝙾𝚅✫・゜・。.
(Halloween edition!)(just ignore the fact that it's no where near Halloween)
Halloween is honestly one of my favourite holidays! You can dress up with your friends and eat so much sugar you end up throwing up! Can't get any better then that honestly.
"A Halloween party? Isn't it a little to early?"
Bad asks as we all stare at the home-made poster tacked onto the cork board in the front office.
"It's never to early for a bunch of teens to have an excuse to get black out drunk."
Red laughs, throwing his arm around Ant.I glance over at Bad with excitement written all over my face.
"It's never to early to celebrate Halloween in Zak's world."
Clay laughs, catching a glimpse of my expression as well.
"Should we really go to this party to celebrate though?"
Bad asks, his voice dripping with suspicion and worry."I mean we can give it a shot? It does sound kind of fun."
George shrugs.
"Are we forgetting the most important part to all of this?!"
Finn exclaims, cutting everyone off."What could possibly be more important then a high school party?"
George asks sarcastically, his accent thicker than ever.
"Costumes! Duh!"
He lightly punches George in the arm, adding a little skip to his step as we all walked down the crowded corridor."There's no good options, everything is so basic-"
Ant complains.
"Sometimes basic is fun."
Finn shrugs.
"We can't be "slap on cat ears and call it a costume" basic though. That's a little to much."
He adds, briefly after looking back at us since he was walking in front of everyone. That's when I got an idea.
I frantically whack Bad on the arm, trying to get his attention.
"What if we dress up as our Minecraft characters"
I sign. He furrows his eyebrows slightly before repeating my words to everyone.
"Isn't that too nerdy?"
Red asks.
"You're too nerdy."
Clay jokingly fights back."I say we do that, I mean what other "non basic" ideas do we have?"
He adds.
"Mine WOULD be basic though!" George retorts.
"You look good in anything Georgie, don't worry about that."
Clay elbows George flirtatiously, making him shut up immediately."It's settled then!" Finn announces.
"Hey! I didn't agree to anything just yet!" Red argues.
"To bad, we're forcing you to do this with us." Ant playfully threatens, squeezing Red's arm lightly.I really missed this.

My fingers rapidly clicked the buttons of the controller resting in my hands. I bite my bottom lip so hard it drew a bit of blood as I sat on the edge of my seat with anticipation. All that could be heard was the clicking of buttons and toggles being pushed against plastic.
I squeal in excitement as the round ends. I had won! Again!"How!? This is the fifth time in a row!" Bad yells in anger, leaning back aggressively onto the backrest of the couch.
"I'm just better" I sign with a cocky smirk."Yeah, whatever you muffin head." He grumbles in response, setting down his controller on the cushion beside him.
"Are you sure we should go to that party?" He asks softly, breaking the long moment of silence between us. I look over at him, not getting a glance back. He sat there, leaned completely back with his head resting on the back of the couch, adjusted so he was staring perfectly up at the ceiling.
"I mean, there's probably going to be alcohol... and drugs-" He adds not long after, slowly shifting his head so he could make eye contact with me.
He usually gets like this when he's nervous about something, or just wants someone to rant to, so I stay silent."I-I've never been to a high school party before, and I've never heard good things about them." He kept his voice quiet, like he was afraid someone would overhear us even though we were the only ones in his house at the moment.
I set my controller down on the cushion to my left, and begin to shuffle over to him. His head was still adjusted so it was looking my way, so when I sat beside him we were only inches apart."You don't have to worry, I'll protect you"
I sign with a small smile. I could feel his warm breath on my face as he giggles lightly.
"That eases my nerves, thank you."
His smile is so contagious, I couldn't hold myself back from smiling at his words. We stayed like that for what felt like forever, zoned out staring into each other's eyes. He calms me down so much, always making me feel at peace when I'm around him. What are the odds I get this lucky having Bad as my best friend.
We both stay still, stuck in our own heads until Bad suddenly breaks the perfectly comfortable silence."You're eyes are way prettier up close."
He says it like he's just saying his thoughts out loud. His quiet whispered tone brings butterflies to my stomach. I quickly bring my hoodie sleeves up to cover my face as I feel it heat up.
He softly grabs my hands, pulling them down and off my face. I am not one to get flustered easily, but these kinds of situations completely break me. It's even worse now that I can't talk, so I can't break the silence with an awkward joke to nervously lighten up the mood. Honestly I think that's for the best though. As thoughts frantically raced through my head I suddenly stopped myself to focus on Bad who's still inches in front of me.
Wait, I'm pretty sure he want this close a second ago-
I didn't know what to do. I just sat there, still, as Bad's face slowly got closer to mine. Our noses were barely touching when the front door gently swung open.I quickly sat up, looking away from Bad and focusing my attention on the TV in front of me. The word "victory!" on one side, and "you died!" on the other half.
"Oh! Hello Zak, hi Bad! What are you two up to?"
I freeze stiff as Bad's father walks in.
"You're home early-"
Bad replies, dodging his father's question completely."Yeah, I finished all of my work I had to do for today this morning."
He explains, leaning on the back of the couch in the middle of us.
"It's awfully quiet in here- did I interrupt something or?-"
My breath hitches. I quickly look over at Bad who looks like he didn't know what just happened either."No!- Nope. We were just playing some Kit PvP." I turn my head around to face Bad's father, nodding along at what Bad had just said. I mean, it wasn't a complete lie.
"Alright then-"
He brushes it off with a suspicious smirk, fixing his posture and walking into the kitchen right across from us.The second he leaves the room I look over at Bad. He looked like he had just seen a ghost and ran a marathon at the same time.
"Uh- i-it's late. I think you should get home before it gets too dark. The roads at night are dangerous-"
He speaks up, breaking our second eye contact session of the night.I silently nod in agreement, quickly standing up and making my way to the door. I made sure I had my phone and keys before leaving. Waving a quick goodbye to Bad and his father before walking out the door.
The entire ride back home was terrible. I couldn't focus at all, and my stomach wouldn't calm down. I didn't even know how I would begin to explain what had just happened moments before. Just thinking about it made my face heat up.
What would have happened if Bad's father didn't get home early?★★★★★★★★★★
