"OMG MELOOO" i said jumping into his arms when he walked through the door with the biggest smile ever

"you hear the news?" he asked while i clung to him like he was a tree

"yes baby!!! i'm so proud fr" i said kissing him, melo had just been named rookie of the year!

it's crazy how it's all happening, like you watch lebron james and stephen curry getting big awards and stuff, but you never actually appreciate the awards and efforts until you see the work they put in on a daily basis.

"what your dad say?" i asked getting down

"man that man sounded more happy than me!" he laughed, i can only imagine how lavar and tina are feeling

"anddd guess what..." i shrugged looking at him

"gelo gon be in the g league! for the Greensboro swarm!" he said excitedly

"seems a good day for the ball brothers huh?" i laughed hugging him again, i'll call gelo later to congratulate him

me and melo celebrated with a few of his teammates for the rest of the night but nothing too crazy because they still had training the next day😂

2 days later

melo had brought himself a few chains and neon coloured lambo truck to celebrate his roty award 😂

"baby this one yours" he said handing me a iced out chain that said "1of1" on it

"dip i can't have that" i said pushing his hand away

"yeah you can, i got one for you, one for me" he said handing it back to me

"put it on" he said as i put it on, it was definitely the heaviest chain i ever worn, i was never one to be all bling bling bling, melo is very much the opposite

"we look good" melo said pulling me into the view of the mirror flexing our matching 1of1 chains on snapchat

"melo you should be giving this to your dad or something" i said playing with it in the mirror

"no, you deserve it ma, you always the one making sure i'm straight and know where i'm going, you the one that wakes up before me to make sure i get up on time- you do a lot for me" he admitted turning red in the face

"aww bubba" i said hugging him "i love you" i said into his chest

"love you too ky, oh and btw overtime larry gon b here in 3 days to do a video on us" he said

so what's it been like living together? obviously that not easy but y'all young and got very busy schedules

"it's had its ups and downs but i wouldn't want to not be living w him" i said

i don't want to sound nosy but you gotta give the people what they want - elaborate on ups and downs

"nah your good," i started "the downs are minuscule compared to the ups, but it's like little things we argue about like when he don't clean up after himself-" i said before melo cut me off

"or when she 'accidentally' kicks me in her sleep" he said making me roll my eyes and laugh

so y'all never get sick of living with each other day in and day out?

"i mean sometimes i get annoyed at him for just doing dumb things so i go to the second apartment that has my studio and equipment and sleep there for a night or two" i said making larry raise his eyebrows
