I woke up to Johnny shaking me, and the beautiful smell of bacon and eggs filled me nose. I love bacon and Johnny knows that. "I made you breakfast," Johnny said. "Aww thanks man," I replied back jumping out of my bed and giving him a hug. I ran out of my room and downstairs to the kitchen to get my food. Johnny and I ate in silence until I spoke up, "Hey Johnny. Do you think I can meet the gang today?" I asked. Johnny looked at me in a sympathetic way, "I'm sorry Jess, but I don't want you getting hurt." I knew that was gonna be the answer, but it's worth a shot right? I quietly finished my breakfast and went upstairs to my room. I changed into my day clothes (A.N. I don't like giving clothes descriptions. I only will if it's for like a date or something) and started reading my book. Johnny and both my parents already left so I was home all alone again.

I got lost in my book and when I looked up at my clock 4 hours had already passed. Man time really does fly. I started reading my book again when I heard a car pull into the drive of our small two story house and looked out the window. Great. My parents are home (hint the sarcasm). they sure are home early. They stormed into the house screaming at each other like usual. I did what I usually do and tuned them out. When you live with that your whole life, you learn how to. I guess that's why I didn't hear them come up the stairs and enter my room.
They stepped into my room and I looked up at them. "What do you want," I rudely asked them. "That is no way to talk to your parents young lady, we will have to teach you a lesson for that," my father replied. He came over to me and smacked me hard across the face. I sat there frozen. My father hit me. I always knew this day would cone, but I really hoped Johnny would be here to help me through it all. My mother came over and dragged me by my hair out of the bedroom and down the stairs, me screaming the whole way. "Please don't hurt me," I begged them "please." It was no hope. they both approached me with an evil grin on their faces. They started punching and kicking me all over my body. How does Johnny do this. They were still hurting me. Eventually they stopped and I couldn't get up. I slowly started slipping into darkness.
