Johnny's kid sister

Chapter 4

I woke up laying in my bed. I don't remember coming up here. I tried getting up when a wave of pain washed over me, and suddenly all of the memories came flooding back. Johnny walked in to my room with a plate of food, water, and a cold cloth. he saw that I was awake and ran over to me spilling some of the water onto the floor. he put the food on the floor next to him, put the cloth on my head, and gave me a hug. "I'm so sorry Jess. I should've been here for you, and I wasn't. I'm an awful brother," he start rambling. I interrupted him saying, "No, your a great brother. There is no one else that I would rather have as my brother. It wasn't your fault. You didn't know that would happen. It's ok, I'm fine." He looked at me with teary eyes. He also seemed to be in deep thought. Suddenly he spoke something I have been wanting to hear for a long time, "You aren't staying here alone again. I'm taking you with me and you are going to meet the gang." I jumped when I heard that, no matter how much it hurt to move, and started hugging him while repeatedly yelling "Thank you." He hugged back laughing. "We will head over to the Curtis's in about an hour so get ready," he told me walking out of my room.

He said we were going to the Curtis's and I have no idea who that is, but I'm guessing it's part of the gang so who cares. I slowly got out of the bed after eating the food Johnny brought me and headed to the shower. the hot water definitely loosened my muscles, and help a lot with the pain. When I walked out, I felt a lot better. I got dressed in my slightly ripped jeans, a tshirt, and my denim jacket. I was never big on make-up so I only put on a little. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. I put on my combat boots and sat down on a chair waiting for Johnny. I heard the water running,so he must be showering. I still had 25 minutes before we were leaving so I started reading a book until it was time to go.

Johnny came down the stairs with his hair still a little wet, and we headed out the door. I was so jumpy on the quiet walk to the house. I couldn't wait. I have wanted to meet these people ever since I was little, and finally I get to. we were walking for about 5 minutes when Johnny started opening a fence gate. This must be the Curtis house I thought. It was a small house like ours, but that makes sense for they are also greasers like me and Johnny. We kept walking closer and closer to the door, and I started to become very nervous. "What if they don't like me," I thought out loud. "I promise you they will," Johnny replied back with a soothing voice. We got to the front door and I took a big breath. For all I know, this could change my life forever. Johnny opened the door and stepped in first. Here it goes, I thought while stepping in beside Johnny.

When I stepped into the house I saw a bunch of boys and no girls. My first thought was "oh boy." I looked around. I saw the living room with a TV and a door that looks like leads to the kitchen, and also the entry to a hallway. There were 6 boys total here, not including Johnny, and when the door slammed closed, all eyes were on me.

"Oh, finally got yourself a girl now did ya Johnny," a boy in a Mickey Mouse shirt called out. My eyes grew wide and I started repeatedly shaking my head no when I fully processed what he had said. Johnny just laughed. Once Johnny saw all of the looks of confusion on everyone's face, he started talking. "Everyone, this is my sister Jessica. Jessica, this is Darry, Two-bit, Steve, Soda, Dally, and Ponyboy." That is when I died. Ponyboy was HOT! I couldn't help but stare until Johnny cleared his throat next to me. Everyone was looking between me and Ponyboy, who must have also been staring, and I blushed a deep red. I decided that I should probably say something so all I said was a small "hi" and sat down on the chair closest to me.

Ponyboy's POV

When I saw her walk in with Johnny, right away I was taken away by her beauty. She was absolutely beautiful. She wasn't like all of the other girls I know, who wear too much makeup or dress all slutty. She was perfect, but what was her name and what was she doing with Johnny? "Oh, finally got yourself a girl now did ya Johnny," I heard Two-bit say. My first thought was, where did Johnny find a girl like that in this little town? Just as I was thinking that, her eyes grew wide and she started shaking her head no like her life depended on it. If she wasn't Johnny's girl, then who is she? It seemed as if Johnny read my mind, cause right then he introduced her to us. She was his sister. I had no idea Johnny had a sister, and from the looks on everyone else's face, they didn't either. Johnny must have been introducing us because all of a sudden our eyes were locked in each other. I got lost in her eyes. Her beautiful dark brown eyes. Johnny cleared his throat and she blushed a deep red, said a simple "hi," and sat down on the nearest chair which just so happens to be the one I was sitting on before she got here. Everyone went up to her and introduced themselves. She must be pretty different from her brother, cause she definitely was not shy at all. She was talking, laughing, and seemed to be having a lot of fun.

I found out a lot about her when we took turns introducing each other. She is 15, only a year older than I am, her favorite food is bacon or cookie dough, she loves reading and music, and she loves sports. Although she doesn't play many sports because they don't have the money and she had to drop out of school, and has no other friends besides Johnny, she still loves them with all her heart. I learned a lot more about her and told her some things about me too. turns out, we have a lot in common.

Hey sorry I took so long to update. I have a lot going on right now and it has been complicated. I have little to no time to update but I will as much as I can.
