He was smaller when I met him...

Error wouldn't admit it, but he did truly have a soft spot for cute things. After all, it was this reason why he kept Stabby the unicorn. So when said skeleton entered an AU with the pure intention to destroy it and felt the rubs and heard the happy meows of a small cat that he had assumed was supposed to be the Papyrus of the AU he began to have second thoughts.

Error let his face soften as he watched the orange tabby circle him, the excited little mews that came from the cat slowly getting louder. Error giggled at this, the rasp that came with it making it obvious that the sound didn't come from him often. Not too far away lingered the Sans of the AU, though they had loosened up a little they still watched the scene before them with cautious eyes. The grey tabby let out a huff after they heard another wave of unaccustomed laughs and playful meows and got up from their spot to join the two in their little play. Soon, Error's visits to the AU became a reoccurring thing, he'd secretly have little play sessions with the two to let off stress from his job, uncaring to the fact that sometimes other fuzzy animals that laid in the AU's walls would watch the three have fun behind tall trees in the forest. Sometimes Error would even bring treats from other AU's! Though they mostly consisted of chocolate and milkshakes from underfell there would be the occasional burnt stolen tray of tacos and the bowl of water, also stolen, from Nightmares castle. Even after the barrier of their underground was broken and their Frisk promised to never reset again, their play dates continued.

With these continuous play dates, Error never noticed the way the two felines grew in size, how they took the resemblance of a tiger more than a cat, and how that whenever one of the brothers rested in his lap, what used to be sleepy purrs were now content rumbles that echoed from their throats.

Of course, a change like this brought the attention of Ink or Squid, Error likes to call him. The creator would jump at any chance for some action and the chance to be shown a show. Which was what brought Ink here now.

Ink hummed a little tune as he skipped on the sidewalk, his curious eye light darted from object to object while also often changing form and color as he did so. He was mainly left alone by the residents of the AU, though he would be given a side-eye from a person before they continued with their business every now and so. Either way, it didn't bother Ink, they went what he was focused on, as he had his standers set on the skele- well now kitties if he remembers correctly, brothers! Ink paused in his movement as soon as he caught sight of the dirt road that migrated away from the cement sidewalk he was following and checked his scarf once again just to make sure he was following the right path. He let out a hum in approval as he confirmed this was the place he needed to be and quickly followed the dirt road to a large wooden archway, its old and cracked pillars covered in vines and flowers of all kinds and colors that softly simmered and shined in the sun's orange and yellow rays.

Ink could've stared at the doorway forever and admired its beauty and age but he didn't want to get off task, so with much effort, he ripped his attention off the archway and made his way through its border, where a flower field waited for him. Colors and gradients of red, orange, and yellow met his eye sockets and gave him a boost of energy. Ink continued to take in the sight as he walked further into the field of flowers, he was so caught up in the sights that he didn't expect to bump into a wall of grayish-blue fur. Ink quickly recovered from the unexpected contact and looked up to meet what seemed to be a tiger's ocean blue eyes staring right back at him. Ink suddenly became aware of his lack of height again, noticing how the big cat's figure towered over him like a tall building. "Huh... I knew you grew a lot bigger after the resets stopped but this is...." Ink trailed off, unaware of how the Sans variant began to slowly and sleepily lean onto him. "Big..." was all Ink was able to utter out before a yelp was ripped out from his throat, his body being pressured by the weight of the feline on top of him. He was able to somewhat wiggle out and into the space of the cat's arms to get some unnecessary air but any attempt he made to escape the tiger's grip was responded with being pushed back into the fluff of the feline. Eventually, Ink just let up and accepted his fate.

He didn't know how much time passed before Error, his self proclaimed
frenemy showed up with another tiger resembling a cat, only this time instead of a blue and grey coating with stripes this one had a bright orange coating that eventually became a yellow with those the same stripes, only they were more the red-orange color. "Ꮥգụĺḑ¿" Error questioned, the amusement in his voice obvious. "Ruru! Thank the stars above you came, could you help me out?" Ink piped up. Instead of being met a response Error just stared at him for a moment and broke out into a burst of uncontrollable laughter. Ink watched as the outcode dropped onto the field of flowers and began to kick his legs out. For some reason Ink found himself snickering with the glitch so he continued. They both laughed and laughed until they couldn't laugh anymore and they two found themselves having a heartfelt moment. It Error a few tries while gulping for unneeded air but he eventually said what he need to.

"Ṇą Ꮥգụĺḑ, ∤ ŧⱨĺṋḱ ∤'₥ ġㆁṋṋą Įēŧ ɏㆁụ şŧąɏ ŧⱨēṛē..."

🐅Bonus scene🐅

Ink started at his enemy, barely holding in his laughter. "I guess we're both stuck now huh?" He chocked out "Ꮥⱨụŧ ụᵱ." Error grumbled only causing Ink to be thrust back into another fit of giggles.

The big cats on top of them simply let out content rumbles and the two bickered on about things from under their bear hugs.

And we're done! This chapter was a lot softer than I thought it would come out as. I wanted to do something light-hearted with these two idiots and came up with this! I plan on doing a double upload this weekend but if I don't then just know that it's either because I'm procrastinating or tired. As a heads up the next chapter, it will probably be the longest one I've written science I started this and I hope you do enjoy it as much as you did with my other chapters!
