Error adjusted the layers of clothing that covered his figure, each refinement coming after a quick check in the mirrored portal that was summoned in front of him.

Looking back up to examine his reflection, he made sure the navy blue coat that he wore hid his hands to the extent where they couldn't be seen and that the head hoodie that was connected to the said coat coved his skull so that his face couldn't be recognized when he was stared at. Error flattened out the wrinkles in his button-up shirt, fastened up the short tie that was wrapped around his neck, and lastly, double-checked whether he had his glasses. With a sound of satisfaction leaving his throat, he closed the window that was the mirror and opened up a different portal, the view of this one being completely different compared to the last, as the other side of the glitching portal showed the corridor of an ally way. Taking a few steps back he readied himself for the experience that was soon to come from going through the portal.

To say that it had been quite some time since his first appearance in this disgraced multiverse would be an understatement, Error couldn't remember how long it had been, the years had piled up on each other in confusing tangles, but Error knew that he wouldn't be the last anomaly to pose a threat to its existence the longer it took for him to wipe it out, and ever since such threats did become of what they were, the Council took time to set up precautions.

Barriers.

Firewalls.

Not only did the damned things stop those who were unauthorized in their tracks, but it also alerted the members of the council to whatever had tried to get through it.

The portal that he opened to this AU in specific had one of them blocking it.

There was a catch, of course, there always seemed to be one when it came to things like these.

He had figured it out only recently, apparently, anything unauthorized could get past the barriers if they were masked with something that would pass the walls, as the barricades were only programmed to do their job, stop what was not supposed to get in and allow what was. Though the disguise would only work for a select amount of time before the multiverse's code would merge the two and the firewall would consider both the intruder and the disguise to be a threat.

That's what the new clothes were for, it was also for staying undetected but if anyone asks ya, you didn't hear it from him!

Sucking in an unnecessary breath of air he prepared to take a running start.

Now!

Error thrust himself at the portal as hard as his body would let him, his attempt being evident by the fact of the crushed ground that now surrounded where he originally stood. But despite the amount of force he had put into the lunge, when his body slammed into the portal he still had to force himself through it, and if anything, the sensation reminded him of when he was trying to stop himself from getting crushed by Blue's hammer. Error let out a grunt as glitches began to fill his eye-sockets, the feeling of such irritating his broken mind, so with his newfound anger, he gave another push into the fizzling portal.

The struggle eventually did let up, because before Error could even register it he found himself diving head first past the portal and rolling onto the sidewalk.

And for a moment too long the destroyer found himself just laying on the cement path.

It took him a while to realize that he had made it through the portal, and when the realization did come he jolted up, the sudden movement startling those who were passing by.
