He looked down at the petit plant.
Its form was embraced by the scarlet that came from the sun of the AU, it's soft pink petals swayed in the wind as it continued to be.
It was pretty, beautiful, some anomalies would say even.
Its whole existence heavily contrasted the skeleton that watched it from above, their midnight bones which were illuminated a dark maroon along with now vibrant reds and sunshine yellows that painted their skeletal body. They were littered with scars, some inflicted by others and some by his own doing, the marks were barely able to be noticed through the dust and grime that too, covered him from head to toe.
The Destroyer of AU's many called him, but he preferred the name ERROR.
Error's tired eyes had ripped his attention away from the plant and to the sunset that tinted this world of its usual color, the bags under his sockets noticeable to even those that were oblivious enough. He could have just ripped this would of its existence, thrown it out like the trash it is, and yet despite how much his mind screamed and yelled at him to just do it...
This AU, this world had an innocence that he had left oh so long ago.
This world was beautiful and he was not.
But...
Error looked back and the flower with tired, longing, sockets.
Crouching down from where he stood, he plucked the flower from where it grew, placing it into a small space in his scarf he moved his hands away to make sure that the flower stayed where he had placed it.
Error opened a portal to the anti-void, once the portal had finished forming he enters through the passage.
Maybe...just maybe he could be beautiful too?

And were done! Despite how short this chapter is, writing it left me with a lump in my throat- I guess thats what writing angst does to you huh? I really want to do more of these chapters, as it helps me put into perspective just what type of character Error really is and how he works and reacts to in scenarios.
