That was not doubted in his mind.

From pacifist to genocide, even if the changes are were as little as adding something or changing someone from its origins, it had to go. There should only be one of them after all, the rest were not meant to be, never meant to be, and Error would make sure that the job would be done in the end.

BUT.

But!

but, there was just something so...entertaining about watching the exaggerated reactions of the characters when they responded to sudden conflict and something so enduring when he watched the anomalies push through at their lowest of times...! He KNOWS he should have at least some sort of resentment towards the AU, towards them like Outertale or Underfell! And yet, every time Error went back to rewatch the timelines of Undernovela...?

Error let out a giggle as he watched through the one-way portal before him. The oven had just blown up, and Frisk, holding a plate of burnt churros and a guilty look on their face, stood before skeleton bothers, the dumbfounded shock plastered on their faces told the human everything they needed to know.

For once, he felt as if he didn't have anything to nitpick about an AU.

So you could understand how distraught he was when news came to him that Undernovela was under 'maintenance'.

He didn't know how it got passed him or remember when the warnings began to show their ugly heads, but by the time he had realized what had happened a notice had already been sent out to the viewers, stating things were under control and that they would be back and airing soon.

And all Error could do was stare dumbly at the one-way portal that displayed the said notice as he sat on his beanbag.

Shit.

"ᏕḪ∤Ť¡" Error screeched, the sudden yell that was ripped from his throat echoing before being greedily eaten the blinding white of the Anti-Void. How could he let something so small as this pass him like that!? He let rip a frustrated scream, his hands flying to the sides of his skull and the scream that was now being drawled out being muffled by his knees, as he had changed his sitting position to where he was crouched. But suddenly Error had paused in his sudden outburst. Rapidly yet subtly his body shook as his scrambled mind scraped for answers and solutions until finally, he was able to think of something. The code! His mind aided, if Undernovela is under 'maintenance' then something must have happened to the code! All you have to do is open a window to the AU's coding and see what happened, his mind continued.

And Error listened, scrambling out the state he had curled himself into, he rapidly swiped his arms back and forth in a messy attempt to open one of his portals. In what seemed to be a painfully long handful of seconds a portal had finally opened, and Error frantically hauled himself up to scan through Undernovela's code. Throughout the sea of information and commands, he was able to pick out a slew of data that was not meant to be, noticeably so. There it was displayed, outlined in brackets and highlighted in red they began to read through the sentences.
