So speed and cold are opposites but what happens when they are both needed to balance one another out? What happens when they become each other's spark? What happens when that spark falls apart? Will it be able to be fixed?
I walk into the precinct and walk over to Singh. "I thought you weren't supposed to be here today." he says. I chuckle. "Well I had nothing better to do." I say. Singh looks down then back up quickly. "what?" I ask. "Your hand." He says. I look down and then it clicks. My ring. "Oh yeah. It happened last night." I say.

"So you are finally getting married. It's about time Allen." He says. I freeze. "I was married before. And I was happy fine thank you." I grumble. "I didn't-" He says but I cut him off. "It's fine. It's just a touchy subject. Listen okay. Len took Eli to the doctor and wouldn't let me because I was sort of panicking. That's why they won't allow me to be alone currently and sent me here. Eli had been showing symptoms like Lizzy for a little bit now but I won't tell him that. but it started getting worse here the past few days and he took him to the doctor." I say. "Damn kid. I'm sorry." He says. "It's fine. You can't do anything about it." I say. Len calls me. I answer it and step to the side. "Hey love. Well I am back in the car now. We got the tests ran and so far there is no signs of tumors or cancer anywhere in his body. They swabbed him for strep, rhino-virus, flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, and the stomach bug. I should get the results back within the next hour." He says. "Alright. Just keep me updated." I say. "I will. I love you." He says. "I love you to." I say. About 45 minutes Len calls back and I put it on speaker seeing as everyone is as much on edge as I am. "Well on a positive note babe. He doesn't have cancer. But I got the test results from the swabs back and he does have the rhino-virus but everything else was negative. They gave him some antibiotics." He says. "Oh hallelujah sweet Jesus." I mutter. I find now a good time to ask about the 200 dollars that he spent. "So Leonard. Would you like to explain why the hell there was 200 dollars drew out of the bank?" I ask. He chuckles. "About that. Listen okay. I thought I told you. But I had something to finish paying off." He says. "Okay well that doesn't tell me what it was? And finish? When and how did you pay some of it before?" I ask. "I took about 900 dollars out of the bank before so you wouldn't know. Listen I got myself into some major trouble with someone I knew before. It was 1 grand that I didn't want you to know I took." He says sheepishly. "Okay but that is still an extra 100 dollars." I say. "He got you something for your anniversary." Nora says. I go completely pale. "Okay fine. You are off the hook this time babe. I gotta go. Singh needs me. My paycheck cleared our shared accounts so go ahead and get you guys something to eat. See if you can get Eli to eat something small. He hasn't ate at all." I say. "K. Love you bubs." He says hanging up. "Fucking hell! Did our anniversary really just go blank. I mean Eli is 1 now so... Oh my god our 1 year anniversary is in 3 fucking days. How did I forget about that..." I say. Singh is cackling so is everyone else. "Oh kid I have been there to many times. We don't talk about last night being mine and Rob's anniversary and me forgetting it." He says. "that is why he called asking if we could take you in if he kicked you out." I say. "Yep." Singh says. Wait I have an idea. "Aye I gotta go." I say. I run out and get to the safe house Lisa and Mick live in now that me and Lenny moved out. I get in and Lisa is there. "Hey." She says. "You're brothers watch that broke about 4 months ago. Where is it?" I say. "His office in his desk drawer." She says not looking up from her phone. I go and grab it and see where the strap had snapped. I do end up getting it fixed in time. By the end of the night he gave me my gift in which was a locket with a picture of me and Lizzie. And I gave him his. All in all. We had a really good anniversary.
