"okay guys we'll start rehearsal for your choreography in a few minutes and after that, we'll all split to our different schedules!" manager yujin said as the members warmed up in the practice room.
"y/n? i'll brief you for a while on the flow for today," manager yujin said as she pulled me aside for a while, handing me the day's schedule.
"today heeseung will be the first to start recording his verses and backing vocals for the japanese album," she started as she pointed out the timings on the shest of paper.
"he's not going to be with other members?" i asked, a little puzzled since usually one or two members would record on the same day to speed things up a little.
she shook her head.
"he'll be doing it alone today since we're expecting many pauses in order for him not to mispronounce any words. the many pauses will delay the other members' progress in other aspects," she explained as i nodded.
"you're assigned to follow heeseung for recording today and supervise the whole flow."
as yujin said that, i felt somewhat nervous. afterall, i had no idea how heeseung felt about my relationship with sunghoon. but yujin doesn't know that... so i can't possibly tell her i can't follow him.
ah.. it's my job. he'll be okay with it anyway right? i'm only his high school crush.. and that's long over.
"before that, you'll be with sunghoon as he'll be contributing to the completion of the new track in the album," she said.
"to end the day, the members will have 3-4 hours of dance practice together. but as always, they can stay longer if they want, and you can get off work at your usual time and let them leave the company once they're done,"
"is that okay?" she asked as she looked up at me, awaiting a response. i nodded as i examined the schedule closely, making sure to remember each timings.
she smiled before heading out as i jogged back to the members.
"remember to tell them when to take a break when you notice they're pushing themselves too much~" she reminded before really heading out.
"oh! there's ice cream in the freezer~" sunoo exclaimed as he happily took one out from the mini freezer in the practice room.
"there's ice cream?!" sunghoon's eyes lit up as sunoo excitedly opened the wrapping of his ice cream, humming to himself.
"you want some? i was just about to get some ice for my coffee anyway," i said as i passed by sunghoon.
he nodded eagerly before asking heeseung (who was beside him) if he wanted one too. heeseung's eyes were glued onto his phone as he shook his head.
i headed to the freezer.
"ooh they have your favourite, grape flavour~" i squealed excitedly as i tossed the ice cream to sunghoon.
he caught it firmly in his hands as he sat up in excitement.
