Gabe arrives at the hospital and he has two gunshot wounds. One in his abdomen and one in his shoulder. When the paramedic wheels him inside he becomes conscious again "Deacon." He calls out. He sees Bodhi and blacks out again. Gabe went into surgery immediately while the doctors call his family. Deacon has been trying to contact Rose, but she doesn't pick up her phone. He calls her work and they told him she hasn't showed up for work yet. He calls max and breaks the news to him.

Rose is at a pregnancy facility because she had a miscarriage and must have check ups because it can do a lot of things to your body. She has been postponing it all this time. She sits down. "Well doc can you hurry this up a bit. I have important shit to do today." She asks. When her phone keeps going off. She picks it up and its Max panicking. "Looks like we have to do this some other time doc. See ya later." She runs out. When she runs out she sees Deacons sister Jazmine. She has no time to take a better look. When she arrives at the hospital she is met with Bodhi. "Talk to me Bodhi, what happened?" Rose asks. He explains everything that happened. "Who is operating on him?" She asks. "Brian Sloane." He says. "Well go help your dad, Bodhi. So, you can keep me posted." She says walking towards her family. Everyone is sitting except Max, he is Pacing around. Rose hugs him "Sit down, hermano. Gabe is strong, have some faith in your brother." She says. He hugs her back and a tear rolls down his cheek. "Who would do something like this to him, Rose. He never hurts a fly. He literally saves lives every day." He says letting go of her and sitting down. Rose gets an idea. "Come on to Derek. I have a few questions." She says. They walk down the hall. To the chapel. "Who has my brother upset recently during work hours?" She asks. Derek tells her about their last case. He gets tears because he feels guilty, he shouldn't have let Gabe go alone to the district. "Where are you going?" He asks her as she walks away. "To kill the person responsible for this. Call me when he is out of surgery and tell my family I am going to find the son of a bitch who did this. He is going to be fine, Derek. Stick with Max for me." She says walking away. Derek is alone in the chapel "God I never ask you for anything but please I need my brother. So, do his siblings so please don't take him yet." He prays.

She went to see Arielle because she saw the car and is in the investigation. Rose wants to know what the police already knows. "Officer Graye. Do you have a minute?" Rose asks. "My name is Rose Ortega, I work at SFI and I have a few questions about the Ortega shooting." "I am sorry Miss Ortega but you know the rules, I can't tell you anything.
